"Despite a limited menu as usual, there was enough choice and eating was excellent. I had a wonderful coconut-based oriental suppe loaded with sweet potatoes and king prawns. I asked if it came with brot, which it shouldn't. do, especially for larger eaters. other adult had the doorstep sandwiches that were great. childboxes also very nice. would definitely be for more."

"Absolutely appalled at the service received, on a girls trip away this was the one evening we had planned to go out, originally to the billycan but was fully booked and we stumbled across this restaurant near the castle walls and thought it looked okay. My friend who has been vegetarian for years ordered the vegetarian lasagna and myself and other friends ordered the burgers, 2 with no onions 1 without cheese…the only order that was correct was the burger with no cheese. My friend who is the vegetarian had a mouthful of food and on her second mouthful had to stop, started inspecting the food and saw it was a meat lasagna! She took her order up to the bar to question if it was possibly a Quorn lasagna to be told no they don’t do Quorn it must be a meat lasagna, this has made my friend instantly feel unwell and she had to go throw up and got extremely upset by this. My friend went to bar and asked the staff to check they had put vegetarian lasagna on the order and they proved they had so it was a mistake by the chef/s and the excuse we was given was they were short staffed and busy…not impressed. They then said we’ll plate her up a vegetarian lasagna now and we said don’t bother no way she will want to eat now and asked for a refund. Ruined my friend’s evening and the staff just didn’t care, now imagine the same excuse if they had given someone with an allergy that same excuse, not good enough the burgers weren’t the best."

"Nice garden to sit in and little open sided dining huts. Dog friendly, cycle friendly. Excellent covid safety in place. Menu was fabulous for a small cafe, great variety of hot and cold food. Wonderful cakes and everything is homemade. The homemade pies and fruit...crumbles can be brought frozen to take home too! Accepts card payments and the price is very good. A must following a walk or cycle or passing in the car as plenty parking on main road and side road."

"We were just passing and looking for somewhere to eat with four adults, three children and a dog! Lovely dog friendly place. Great service. Good value for money and cheaper than eating in Tenby itself. We all had really tasty meals, delicious desserts and can’t fault the place. Toilets were clean and modern. Baby changing facilities and high chairs available. Would definitely recommend and stop here for food again."

"Of us Went for a family meal and made us feel very welcome, the food and staff were fantastic. Starters, mains and desserts were out of for all of us, highly recommend a visit u won't be disappointed, great pub great welcome...great atmosphere."

"I don't even know where to really start. managed to get a last-minute table for me, parent and very fussy son. I contacted andrea to book, and she was beyond helpful and accommodating for my sons cheerful at the arrival it was very busy, but...we were quickly served with drinks and shown on our table top and given menus. after a minimum waiting our order was taken by a nice fellow worker and shortly after eating. wow, I had never eaten a Sunday dinner with so much. veg consisted of brat potatoes, carrots, pork and carrots, papasnips, broccoli and cauliflower cheese (one must have been so happy for me with roasts). I decided for the roast lamb and my elders had the bark, we all had more meat than we could eat and the fussy child cleaned his teller of chicken and chips. everything was hot and freshly puked and we were all very impressed by eating, service and atmosphere. we will soon come back as impressed especially how busy they were clear, of us, keep the good work all"
