"Jinya is the best Ramen in the Salt Lake valley right now out of all the Ramen bars. First, the appetizers are all full of flavor and fresh. Personal favorites are the Pan seared Gyoza with a nice soy-ponzu sauce. And the best is the Tempura Fried Shrimp with a citrus aoli. Second, and most important, the Ramen. The noodles are cooked to perfect Al dente and are the perfect thickness (They offer thin noodles too, but just always go thick). Other restaurant's are just too thin or overcooked. Ev … – show"

"Didn't really feel welcomed, they said the wait was just 10 minutes, he seemed annoyed that we wanted to wait. They sat us on a table under the blazing sun, even tho there were three others in the shade. The server took two other people's order before ours even tho we had been sitting there for a while, then she came and took our order, as expected the others got their food before ours and when ours came out, they tried to give it to a couple that had just sat down!! I finally spoke up and said, … – show"

"The server was fantastic. I thought it would be funny to order the trioand tell them I only wanted lasagna. The trio comes with fettuccine Alfredo chicken, Parmesan and lasagna. I told them I wanted the trio, but didn’t want the fettuccine or the chicken Parmesan. So I asked them if they would substitute the chicken Parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo for two more lasagnas. I was surprised when the server said he would go ask his manager. His manager came out with him and they told me that they could give me two big pieces of lasagna, but I would have to pay for the third if I wanted one more. I told them two pieces of lasagna would be great. So they brought them out and the lasagna is so big I can only eat one piece. Even though my original order was a joke, they still went out of their way to accommodate it. That is outstanding service."

"Wonderful food and great service. We sat downstairs and watched them make pizzas. The temperature was on the cool side downstairs, but very cozy."

"This place Sugar House) had better taste than the one in Murray, even though they were the same chain or chefs might be having a bad day. The atmosphere was warm inviting and modern design, completely different than the one in Murray, more bright more spaces. The music was loud blasting to my ear, should have had traditional Japanese music instead American Pop music, I was here to enjoy my food, not hurry eat and go. The service was spotty, server dropped off food and never came back once to check our refill but as long the foods were good then no complaints. The Takoyaki deep fried octopus balls) was so delicious, crispy outside steamy hot inside topped with mayo, the thin bonito flakes melt in my mouth. The spicy tonkotsu broth was very rich, but greasy and flavorful. The smoked chashu was tender, melted in my mouth. The shrimp wonton ramen was the first try I never had, strange to have Chinese wonton in Japanese cuisine but they were good. So enjoy the Chinese wonton with Japanese twist using Japanese flavor. Overall, food was extremely excellent, flavorful broth, if you don't mind greasy stuffs on top the broth."

"We left. This restaurant is in serious need of updates and the service needs to be trained. The photos online look stylish, but the actual inside is grungy. The walls look like they’ve taken a beating, the seating is dirty, and even the trim behind the back wall seating is dirty. The seating hostess seated us, and then we waited minutes for someone to come greet us, talk to us, take our order... Meanwhile the tables around us had dirty dishes on them and a guy was wheeling a hideous cart full of dishes around the restaurant. This was at not closing time! After waiting for minutes, we just got up and left. We were disappointed in the state of the restaurant, and the service was obviously not up to standard"
