"It honestly couldn’t have got much worse in terms of service. Food as expected but oh the service! From the manager not understanding the licensing laws (or basically bare faced not acknowledging them) to the harassment of the server. In all 20 years of going here I’ve never experienced anything like it, either here or any other establishment. What should have been an enjoyable family meal out turned into a memorable (for all the wrong reasons) experience. I never leave reviews, good or bad but TOBY if you’d like to reach out to find out why after more than 20 years I won’t be spending another in your establishment I will be more than happy to discuss!!!! One very dissatisfied and harassed customer. Unfortunately there is no option to leave zero stars!"

"After wondering around town for a couple of hours shopping I saw Amore coffee lounge and decided to head in for some me time and rest my feet, as soon as I walked in I noticed the amazing decor and the overall cleanliness of the place, it was busy but all the spare tables were clean and wiped. got to the counter and was greeted by smiles and happy workers which always makes your visit more pleasant! I got a ham and cheese panini which came with a good pot of coleslaw on the side which was one of the nicest coleslaws i've ever had! the panini was delicious and i accompanied this with a large latte which was to die for, i finished it off with a scone and butter which was also beautiful, entirely perfect. this coffee shop is a little hidden up the side of boots but i am so glad that i found it, couldn't fault anything, will definitely be returning! 10/10"

"Have been here for years as his so local. at last it did today. very welcome despite the small size of the shop. service amazing, eat amazing quality so far (I went a bit crazy and bought loads.) the best pork cake and jäger cake we have ever tasted. we'll see you next weekend!"

"Visited just for a cake and coffee and wasn't disappointed. Homemade brownie with ice cream and whipped cream was lovely. Decent size portion as well. Can't comment on coffee though as changed my mind and got a pint of Tyskie lager instead :"

"What a great experience we had here today. we came with our excited 5 yo and our 7 weeks old twins and all the workers were excellent in looking for us and friendly. our 5 yo told one of the employees that she was really happy to try to see farmer rob and dave. about 10 minutes later, this dame farmer rob went through to say hi and have a quick chat. it was unexpected, over and above and it made our little girls tag. many thanks."

"We visited with friends yesterday (15/5/22) after a trip out to a local beauty spot and had booked in advance. We arrive 30 mins early so sat in the garden with some drinks. We went in at our booked time and had to wait 20...mins for the table. Once seated, we were not asked if we wanted any more drinks and we had to ask a passing waiter to take our food order. The meal arrived in a timely fashion but was not of the best quality and certainly not worth the extortionate prices! The chicken roast was the best of the bunch and was enjoyed by those of us who had it. The lamb roast was fatty and tough, the wagu burger was ‘ok’ (the bacon was described as crispy it was not and the fries were smothered in Parmesan and were basically on a par with McDonald’s fries At £21, this was beyond overpriced!! I would say the biggest rip off of the day however was the kids pizza hot dog and fries. It was a tiny finger roll, one half size hot dog sausage with a bit of cheese and chorizo on and a few ‘McDonalds style’ fries. No side and not enough to fill a child. How much did they charge for this meal that I could have thrown together for 75p? £7.50!!! Absolutely beyond a joke! At no point did the staff ask if we wanted any more drinks and when we complained about the price of the hot dog, the waitress just said ‘well that’s our prices’!! We had every intention of having another bottle of wine and more soft drinks and also desserts (probably another £70) but we were so disgusted by the service and quality (and cost) of the food, we left. £130 for 4 adults and 4 children for 1 course and one drink each! We eat out regularly and are happy to pay for good food and service, but we would not give this business any more of our well earned money and will not return."
