"Great food, service and decor. I really enjoyed the salmon full breakfast and my hubby that usually only orders something to drink when we go out, tried the croissants and he enjoyed it! I'm definitely coming back to try out some different meals."

"What an amazing find! After seeing all the raving reviews, we went in with high expectations—and The Avenue DID NOT disappoint. The service is top-tier, the atmosphere is inviting, the menu is brilliant, and the food—OMG THE FOOD—is some of the best in Cape Town: Large portions, great flavour, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Kingklip and Calamari (and will be back to try the steak). Special thanks to Eric and the team for making our evening great."

"Excellent oat milk based ice cream with interesting yummy flavours! They make their vegan waffle cones on the spot, the place smells divine. Very friendly helpful staff. It is a very small place, so mostly for take away (bring your own container get a discount! . If I lived here would come back all the time."

"The way there is very nice. eating in such a beautiful environment was great. I had the big mama burger with a side salate and the patty was so good! I didn't have that brot because I wanted to keep room for dessert.Nextly, I would ask without the bun, although it was a good one. it seemed just a vegan option for wein to have and it was a white one. the sweet potatoes were great. you have to try the brownie with ice!"

"I have only been here for tea and a game of chess). It was awesome. Their tea selection was huge, but what impressed me the most was the lady who works there who advised me on what tea I should pick. Usually when I'm presented with too many options, I freeze and don't know what to do, which doesn't make the experience that great. But this lady advised me so well. She recommended THE MOST DELICIOUS tea. I will forever have this tea as my favourite I suspect ;p... strongly). <br/ <br/ The interior here is also well considered. It is awesome that they have board games around for clients to play.<br/ <br/ We have not eaten here, so will keep this review unfinished until then."
