"Came here with the boy and mam and had good quick service. Lunch really tasty but chicken little bit dry on the butterfly chicken, nothing a bit of sauce can't fix. App also didn't seem to work but the staff came over and took our...order which was good"

"We called into this little Cafe and felt welcome from the start, with great service, a good chat and cakes to die for. The scones were superb and coming out fresh as Sally baked in the kitchen. We had the fruit scones and ginger which was probably the best I've had. Can't wait to go back and try other things when we are next in the area."

"My second visit to Bistro 34. The first was for a fabulous Sunday Roast. Yesterday, fourteen of us enjoyed the most delicious Afternoon Tea on Mother's day. Each person had a choice of four finger sandwiches, a mini quiche (scrumptious), a profiterole (mmmm), a (beautiful) fruit scone with jam and cream, a piece of lemon drizzle cake, a mini Victoria sponge (WOW) and a shot of Lemon Posset! OUTSTANDING!! Accompanied by a glass of fizz and a cup of tea. I could not recommend this place enough! Lovely venue, great staff, nice ambience. We left very happy, very full and will be back!"

"We were at a 50th anniversary here on Sat night . Beautiful place ,nice and cosy very friendly staff . You can not go here without trying the steak, it is simply to die for. Will definitely be returning"

"Hungry after a long walk, I found the Deli in Kirby Lonsdale and discovered a real gem! My courgette and fennel quiche was succulent and tasty with crisp, light pastry, accompanied by two wonderfully fresh and healthy salads. I chose the spiced chick peas and, after a suggestion from the proprietor, a feta, rocket and apple salad with a damson dressing. And the cost of all this deliciousness? A mere £4! I enjoyed every mouthful and was sorry to see the bottom of the box- so wonderfully not plastic! I shall most definitely be returning."

"We couldnt decide between the castle inn keswick or the sour nook and decided on the sour nook, what a BIG mistake for our easter sunday lunch!!! We both had starters and small lunch, unsure about soup but it did taste ok, edges of roll were hard, partners garlic mushrooms were frozen breaded, The roast sunday lunch consists of frozen roast potatoes, Sliced supermarket meat, frozen yorkshires and veg may have been fresh but unsure, the gravy was obviously granuals and very watery as it wasnt made from stock. starters 4.50 and 4.00 only choice of 2 and meal was awful but we were so starving we had to eat what we could stomach. Meals 9.95 or 6.95 for a small and very glad only ordered a small as value was disgusting when taking into consideration it is £14 at the castle inn for 2 courses and everything is fresh and good portions. Im utterly mortified i spent that on this meal today as it would have cost me about £8 to do in total at home and half an hour tops with goods from iceland to sort myself. My fault was i should have refused the meal when it arrived as i could see what it was straight away, disgusted with the quality and quantity for prices. Sorry but im really psst off now!!!"
