"Recommended<br/ Berhampore has an interesting little gastronomic enclave. Rinski/Gramercy/Celies and the Adelaide trading company.<br/ <br/ The ATC is the glass fronted entrance not only to the cafe but also something to do with marshal arts it 's not clear what the association actually is, but at weekends there are few ninjas passing through instead a steady gaggle of folk come in for takeaway coffees or breakfast. <br/ <br/ ATC is noticeably modern and clean. To use an out of favour descriptor, it 's nice. No grunge, more Nordic, minimally retro from the posters of old New Zealand cookery books and the bookcase of the same, mixed with gold embossed reader 's digest an odd mix. Herb planters outside provide a welcome strip of green in an otherwise automotive atmosphere.<br/ <br/ The staff are extremely pleasant, on three visits always helpful, interested as well as interesting. The cabinet of slices and deli items is small but select. Bread dough comes from the kapiti coast and is baked on site. Interesting finds are the short links of an extremely mellow, sweet salami, a cheesy, tomatoey scone that is delicious, and an excellent mince pie. The latter is clearly crafted with care and its construction is near perfect. But sometimes it 's the imperfections that make food better than good the pie perhaps needed guts. In fact I did a side by side comparison of the ATC mince pie against a blue belle cafe in island bay 'beef and speights ' pie, the latter winning because of its raw aggressive flavours and less than perfect construction. <br/ <br/ Last weekend we went for a breakfast of kippers on toast. The rather small kipperette came with, and was meekly overshadowed by two slabs of toasted bread. The fish lovely, the bread good, but I was still hungry. There are two sides to a kipper and I think the dish really needs both.<br/ <br/ Coffee excellent Old George well made and good depth. <br/ <br/ Overall ATC is a good little cafe pleasant ambience, lovely people, the right philosophy toward food. If it lacks anything it 's possibly slightly constrained, in need of robustness guts. I don 't know how else to describe it can it be too nice?"

"My 'local ' Brezelmania is the one located in the Kelburn shops. A little store selling your usual bread products, pies, sandwiches and sweet treats.<br/ <br/ If you are looking for good Christmas mince pies this Christmas, then I would recommend their pies. "Wonderfully speedy service even before 5.30 yes we were very early. Delicious tender squid starter and fall off the bones lamb shanks and ribs very flavourful. Green vegetables super bright and crispy corn a little tired send slaw a bit bland. Nevertheless definitely recommend."

"We shared a wonderful meal with wonderful dear friends visiting from Australia. So glad we decided to go out of our suburb and eat here. They had great live music, that was a great volume to still be able to hold conversation without yelling and straining to hear. We all had the steak special and all steaks were cooked as requested. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely go out of our way to go here again."

"Took my mum and sister here for mothers day dinner.. AMAZING!! My mum had the lamb chops and my sister and I shared the chicken tacos,Caesar salad,Sydney potatoes and the corn.. everything was absolutely yummy! We also shared a sticky date and feijoa crumble Also had a wine each and came to $125 for all of us. As we were about to leave the staff brought us over all little gifts to take home!! Cookies and other baking and rosehip face spray and other cute treats!! Will definitely be going back to try the brunch menu! Lovely helpful staff"

"Came tonight for my partners birthday. Beautiful, relaxing place with great views of Oriental Beach. Our group ordered the ribs, crispy chicken, lamb cutlets and the pork belly with different sides. We all enjoyed our meals except two of the group didn't enjoy their sides of lotus fries. I was really hoping I could try the poached pear for dessert, but this was unavailable on the menu tonight. We got the panna cotta and chocolate cream cheese brownie and we all enjoyed our desserts. Service was top notch. Portion sizes are small for the price, you need to order sides separately to the main dish. I only managed to snap one pic."
