"Lovely ambience and delicious food! We had a bunch of different dishes and used share plates so all of us could have a taste of everything. My personal favourite were the scallops, and the curry. The other dishes were quite good as well. Only thing I would change next time is the fish pie. The taste was good, but I felt it was a bit less special compared to the other dishes."

"Love the decor and the set up, warm and cozy.<br>
Had the large pho, for $16 was pricey, and a little light on the toppings, broth was okay, too heavy on the star anise, and definitely too sweet.<br>

Service was pretty good, the wait staff were polite and attentive."

"Returned for a coffee run. They use Campos beans but I wasn't a fan of this blend which was sourish. The coffee was also served too hot which may have affected the flavour. We also shared a very rich and dense brownie, far too sweet for my preference. -Previous review I've only had cakes from La Baguette, the Opera and the Success. Both were very rich and dense. The Opera was the sweeter of the two, with a hazelnut and chocolate profile while the Success was a sinful creation of thick ganache sandwiching layers of chocolate cake. The cakes are probably not as refined as those from Lindt or La Renaissance but still delicious."

"As a born and bred Westie I thoroughly believe that we are not only connoisseurs of the pub feed but also pioneers of what is known as a "schnitty special". <br>

Now as I was walking through Crows Nest one thing caught my eye: "$25 Schnitzel Special" and even though I had only eaten lunch maybe 2 hours ago I had to take this offer up. <br>
<br>
Upon wandering inside the stoned crow one thing was evident - this wasn't your average pub. This was a restaurant with a bar. No pokie room, no tab or designated smoking area - Alarm bells were ringing. <br>

I ordered the said special from a bearded bartender who then proceeded to tell me sauce was extra which of course I had to oblige. I opted for chips and salad rather than the steamed veggies and mash as well as a schooner of Peroni - impressive as it was on tap.<br>

The schnitzel itself appeared to be an entire chicken breast, butterflied, flattened, breaded and of course deep-fried. The breading was great and cajun seasoned? the chicken though was overcooked and dry. <br>

Overall I spent just under $40: Schnitzel special + gravy + beer.<br>
<br>
Nice try lower north shore but the "schnitty special" is a culinary institution you are not going to re-invent anytime soon."

"I work nearby Tod & Bekki and walked passed it for months before giving it a shot, and I was not disappointed. The meals are big, delicious and well-priced. The hardest part is not relying on it for every meal of the day. My favourite breakfast is the Green Land, which is poached eggs with avo, bacon and pesto. Sandwich-wise, you'll probably struggle to finish them, and need an afternoon nap in the office when no one is watching. Having said that, my favourite is the Haloumi sandwich, which is delicious and makes you feel semi-healthy. Highly recommend you give this a go. Be patient if you see heaps of people there, it's not a massive place, but it's worth the wait!"

"Love the atmosphere here. They were (probably accidentally) very generously with the serving of our individual spoons and left us very satisfied. Have the caramel macademia and chocolate. Your specials are also very appealing. Fast and friendly staff."
