"My husband and I live in Brampton and our daughter and her boyfriend live in London so we decided to meet for dinner in Kitchener. My husband choose Turtle Jack's as he had never been to one. The hostess was very pleasant and quickly showed us to a table. Our daughter ordered the Onion Soup as an appetizer and the cheese was burnt. For her meal she ordered Chicken Parmesan: the chicken was black even though she didn't order blackened chicken and there was very little sauce and no cheese. We let the waitress know we were not happy so she politely agreed to bring a different entree. The next thing she tried was the Shrimp & Sea Scallop Pasta, unfortunately it too had very little sauce, no cheese, only 3 shrimp and 2 scallops. My husband had the Bison Burger and half way through it discovered a lump of ingredients that were supposed to be mixed with the bison. I had the Honey Garlic ribs and they were burnt too. To top off the bad food it was a paint night and the group was two booths away from us so we had a difficult time hearing each other over the sound from the Paint group."

"I stopped in for lunch with a friend for the first time today. It's basically a take-out place, but there were 3 tables for 2 in the restaurant and we chose to eat in. It was hard to choose from the many good options on the menu, and I was surprised to find that my need to eat wheat-free didn't pose many limitations since they were quite willing to customize my order to accommodate my needs. We both had the All Day Breakfast Sandwich and the soup of the day which was a roasted parsnip & coconut - not the kind of soup I would normally try, but this didn't seem like a normal kind of restaurant. Both options were superb - great flavour and so unique.The price is a little higher than I would usually expect for this kind of place, but the quality and creativity of the food was well worth it. I would definitely go back, even if just to try more options from the menu."

"Not bad food, but I find it a bit pricey for what you get. And the menu is limited for what I like. Better than Subway. They always ask you to round up your purchase so the extra money will go to a fire fighters fund, hopefully It does really go there. You never know."

"Start with the peanut butter brownie and add any coffee to the order - it's that good! Pour over coffee is amazing and it is worth the few minutes of waiting for ti...just be patient. Real gourmet hot chocolate, strong coffees, and in the summer you have to have their Nitro brewed cold coffee on ice...very refreshing! Right across from the train station with a great view of people walking in and out, the old furniture warehouse and the sun coming down makes for an enjoyable outing every time!"
