"..but don't expect happy, friendly people! In fact after six years my partner refused to go there. Not just because it is vegetarian but because of the pompous way the staff acts. I've heard them being so offhanded to someone asking about accomodation that I was tempted to warn them against it. The food is good and the grape juice yummy. There are hammocks to lay in but so many of the other beach places have happy, friendly staff that I'd rather go there and smile rather than feel I have to sit there and be looked down upon! And at a premium price!"

"Kanvas is my must go to place in Palolem. With great vibes, amazing food shakes, it’s the best place in town to sit watch the world go by. The team are just brilliant, and the momo’s are maybe the best I’ve ever had! Do not miss visiting Kanvas when you’re in Palolem. Can’t wait to go back!"

"The place was crowded but we were able to get seats.<br/ <br/ First of all the location as reported on zomato is incorrect.and also the menu and pricing as depicted here is not accurate.<br/ All the dishes prices are almost 30 percent more than as quoted in the menu.<br/ We ordered dal makhani and kashmeri dum aloo and butter naan.<br/ Dum aloo was quite good but sal makhani wasn't that good"

"Not sure why some complain about this restaurant. The fish we had was delicious, the vegetables perfectly cooked (not overdone, just the right balance of tenderness and crunchiness). The view of Patnem beaches night lights was beautiful, the atmosphere was pleasant, as was the waiter. The music wasn't overbearing as it is in so many restaurants in Patnem and Palolem, and as we were in a secluded location, we didn't have to listen to three different strains of music from adjoining restaurants competing with each other. Consequently, dinner here was relaxing, enjoyable, delicious. We'll be back."
