"We are from Asheville, which is a foodie town for sure. Kate's is totally comparable to some of the fine dining in Asheville. Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, tasty. Just an amazing little cafe that prides itself on great attention to detail. Kate is friendly and watching over the business making sure everything is perfect. We had 3 breakfasts there when we were in town. We just kept going back for yet another fabulous meal. The quiche was so amazing. The crust was unusual, and the inside was creamy and delicious. Coffee is top notch. The fruit is so fresh the last morning I had to add a side of fruit. The little side salad included with some breakfasts was crisp and fresh with wonderful dressing. You have to go to Kate's!!!!"

"I never had a bad experience with Jimmy. Even if there is a line, it moves quickly. Tested several different elements, but usually gravitation divided on the top to bottom bananas. The blueberry cheesecake flu is also fantastic. So glad they are open all year round because we love ice cream, even if it is cold. Look forward to trying the pasties soon"

"We ordered a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza with butter and parmesan all over the whole thing and I gotta tell you .... It was absolutely delicious! When my friend walked out with our order an employee came out and told us that he had handed us the wrong pizza. Less than 5 minutes later the cook came out with our pizza, and an extra bread stick, and it was hot and ready. The cook then came back out and gave all four of us in the vehicle a brownie for the inconvenience and told us that half their oven was down at the moment and it had been taking a while to fill orders. None of us wanted a brownie so our driver went in and traded it for another bread stick. We also ordered the stuffed bread sticks and they were absolutely delicious too."

"Okay, let's talk about safety and food. My wife, who is celiac, has a hummus veggie sandwich with gluten-free bread. It came with chips and she got an orange seasoned tea. She said it was okay and that's it. The staff seemed to be understandable about GF, but I'm not sure. Now for the bad part. The theme was Edgar Allen Poe and it was cool, but just a kind of theme. We had to choose our own seats and the bartender told me they had found one. I wanted to grab it, and this guy called me to save him. He later found out that this was the owner and he was rude. We have a place on a balcony and these two children ran around. The boy spit twice from the balcony. For the second time, I called him and guess what? They were the owners. I told him and he took the kids away and didn't even say sorry or the people who saw it. I knew that was the owner because I saw a news article on the wall. So my wife and I drove half an hour to check this place and it's not worth going back."
