"Me and my partner booked this trip as a celebration, by Lord what a way to celebrate. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner, a tour of the establishment, and were shown to our room. We stayed in the Byland room, it’s beautiful; comfy beds, beautifully decorated, fresh milk in a mini personalised milk bottle, clean robes, fresh fluffy towels. I am over the moon with the place.The village it’s situated in is a lovely break from work, traffic and a hectic life. The food from the pub up the road is phenomenal. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough, cannot wait to come back to see what the owner had done to make it her own.I’m still in The Coxwold as I write this; that’s how excited about it."

"Love staff ,love food , shouldn't have got the halepinos though lol But got a £5 rice box with Chilli con carne and Wow massive and lovely Only gripe wish there was a bit more sauce with chilli con carne but a minor thing They probably had it but just never asked for it I'd give it 10* if I could , can't recommend it enough I'd walked past loads of times and decided to go in glad I did Only think they don't take cards but do bank transfer/PayPal cash. "Called in for some lunch for a picnic and we weren't disappointed. The pork and meat pies are especially nice and the selection of cakes are amazing. So amazing in fact that we bought loads favourites were the salted caramel and lemon meringue tarts!...If you are after a friendly shop with lots sweet and savoury this is a great choice"

"I have lived near Scarborough for over 6 years and never been here before. Been aware of it, but never been. My wife has been a few times and told me how good it is. So we ventured to Giannis. It’s a wonderful place. Lovely, authentic Italian atmosphere the music was great, pictures on the wall great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the trio bruschetta for starter delicious. The Calzone pizza and Diavola were absolutely delicious. Enormous and totally full of flavour. We passed on the dessert because we couldn’t eat anymore! The coffees (lattes were hot (you don’t get hot lattes at the service stations!! and you could taste the coffee. Fantastico! A great experience going again for sure. I imagine most living in the area have already been but if you’re visiting Scarborough, and you enjoy Italian food, you have to visit Giannis. You will not regret it."

"I love setting, but dear. the personal tries, but do not understand the food, so the service is bad and slow. the kitchen made some mistakes on our table of two, unnecessary errors that could have been easily removed with the workout. the staff... they're sure, but they don't seem to have a lead."

"Been to Abigail's recently, the filter coffee and pot of tea were great and the buns and scones yummy, I never seen cream as thick in a Victoria sponge before. Prices were so cheap as well as buns, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and toasties were on offer. Abigail is generous with her portions and the buns and cakes etc are baked on site. A coffee, pot of tea and 2 scones cost only £4.47p, needless to say we were back the next day."
