"The food used to be pub food done very well. Now it's just very average. Veg either almost raw (which I liked) or so overcooked it is like school dinners (which is so retro). The rest meh! together it needs to try much...harder. Staff are super polite just not that well trained. e.g. for one teacup of hot chocolate. Seriously? It just aint that good zero ambience and it was quite cold inside. Charge me more I don't care but make it good not deeply average please."

"This is a small coffee shop on two levels. I placed my order with a pleasant staff member. The server making the coffee was less civil. The coffee was good and the toilet was clean enough. The upstairs tables were a bit dirty and had not been cleared for a while."

"Very disappointed and definitely not value for money was extremely disappointed with starter a Camembert which came rock hard unable to dip bread which was stale took it away returned in few minutes not much improvement portion sizes extremely small 4 starters 4 mains 1 bottle of wine 2 coffees .. the bill was very high with a high service charge would definitely not recommend to any one .."

"We spent a post-lockdown break in this area and called into Treacles two or three times for coffee/lunch. It was one of the hottest weeks of the year and we appreciated the tables outside. All was fully Covid-compliant, and we were served promptly. The food...and coffees/teas were excellent brownie points for the decaf tea available (not the case everywhere). The lunch snacks we had were equally good tasty, well-presented and not over-priced. Treacles is one of our go-to eateries in Thame, and we have never been disappointed."

"Popped in before going to the cinema. Ordered at till then the man cleared it and had to redo it. Then we waited nearly an hour for food it wasn’t particularly busy). When asking how long they gave no explanation. Then the food finally came he hadn’t put my coffee on my daughter had ice cream sauce instead of the correct sauce on her Crepe. I was so disappointed as we’ve been before and really didn’t expect it. I know a couple of people got a refund and left. It’ll be a while before I return."
