"Average food and an average experience. Some items such as the curry and gammon are decent enough but others such as the steak and ale pie really aren't with very little steak and what is inside is tough, fatty and chewy. The cauliflower bites were like baby food inside with mushy cauliflower and the batter' was like rubber rather than being crisp. Also, a starter we ordered to come with our main courses was missed off and we had to go to the bar to ask for it. After our main courses we ordered some dessert for our kids, initially we tried ordering the apple crumble but that wasn't available, so we had the brownie, then the lemon sorbet but that wasn't available so this ended up as chocolate icecream, then the strawberry and clotted cream icecream but this also wasn't available so we had to settle for raspberry ripple. All this out of stock on a Friday lunchtime, so I can imagine there will be a lot of disappointment over the weekend. Added to which we had a 30 minute wait for the desserts to arrive bearing in mind we had ordered 2 icecreams and 2 pre made brownies and then they only arrived after we went to the bar and asked after another table who ordered theirs 10 minutes after ours received them 5 minutes before us. It was not overly busy during our visit and judging by the size of the Phantom Winger I would estimate it was barely a third full."

"Beautiful choice here vegan breakfast, ‘healthy’ smoothies, vegan platter and my favorite is the Deli dish all vegetable salad Coleslaw etc. This place is busy so if you want to eat lunch try to book. There is also a seating area outdoors."

"I’ve got to agree, 5* isn’t enough! My favourite place to stop after a walk for a coffee and slice of cake, or for a lovely lunch out. Plenty of veggie options, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Their whole cakes really don’t get the recognition they deserve!! I’ve ordered a couple of them now, most recently a carrot cake for my partners birthday. Everyone commented that it was the best carrot cake they’ve ever had, and I’ve got to agree. Delicious and really reasonably priced, I will always get while cakes from here :D xx"

"Amazing food with a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The staff are very friendly. The waitress who served me was very professional and very friendly with my daughter. The chef cooked some stunning food. I didn't know what to choose and asked for the chefs recommendation. Chef Adam sent me a chicken and noodle poke bowl and wow, it was delicious. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The atmosphere, food, drinks, service, I couldn't fault them at all. I look forward to my next visit. Parking: Lots of parking is available. Kid-friendliness: Staff are very friendly towards children."
