"Cocoabeans is an amazing restaurant and one of my favourites in Winnipeg. The menu is entirely gluten-free and features many vegan and vegetarian options which is fantastic for those of us with dietary limits. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The seating is limited, however, and the restaurant is often busy. I absolutely LOVE their menu. I have tried the Sweet Potato Burger, Taco Salad, Quinoa Salad, Chickpea Salad, Yam Fries and their Kombucha on-tap. Everything has tasted incredible, fresh and flavourful. They also serve cafe drinks and have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and other meals. They sell some of their salad dressings, quinoa chili, homemade hummus, and other items in their refrigerated/frozen area. They also sell delicious baking and treats like homemade peanut butter cups, date bars, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more. All of their baking that I have tried is so good! Many of their baking is vegan as well. The service has been hit and miss during my multiple visits. I have experienced staff who haven't had a very friendly or positive demeanour, while other times the staff have been polite, professional and positive. I hope this can improve for the future! I always love enjoying a meal at Cocoabeans and will continue to eat here often."

"This has got to be on of the tastiest bakeries in the city!!! The scones, cakes, breads, morning buns and croissants are out of this world!!! With French Way across the street it is always a debate as to where to go but Pennyloaf wins out most of the time! also love that they are on the local frequency! Just get there early on the weekends if you want morning buns, they go quickly!!"

"The selection of specialty items is incredible. Prices have always been fair.I love buying vegan and gluten free ingredients here and finding great house cleaning products.Some of my absolute favourite inhouse treats are the Sunbars, coconut macaroons, and the tofu sandwiches they make here.Highly recommend this spot for great people and service, quality products, and their produce is organically priced for the quality."
