"Both the food and the service were excellent. Each roll comes with a choice of egg drop, hot and sour, or miso soups. The price of the sushi rolls were about average, but the flavors were top notch! We have been there three times now and have tried different rolls each time! Highly recommend the Mango Roll, the See You Tomorrow roll, the Stephen Roll, and the Vegas Roll."

"We went by and decided to try the Sutter Pub Restaurant on Monday night. The pub was about half full when we arrived at 18:30 and stayed in this way for the duration of our stay of about two and a half hours. The interior of the pub is very real and very nice for a pub like this. It has several TV screens for those who watch sports. The bar counter is beautiful and high with high chairs for patrons who prefer to sit at the bar. There is only one stand in the bar, and then a number of tables and chairs along the walls of the bar. The booth is next to the bathroom, which could be a bit challenging if you sit on both evenings with many guests. The ceiling is very large, but the sound level in the pub is somehow not suffering as a result, at least not on a week night. The pub has an excellent beer selection with many designs beer options, and even more on bottles and cans. We tried a number of different beers and enjoyed such a large selection. You will find everything from a warehouse to a wheat beer, or an IPA or gose. We were impressed by the wide range of options. The menu is typical of such a pub, with all the dishes you would expect in a pub. We tried fried chicken, fish and chips, tacos and burgers. The burger was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were very good, and so were the tacos and fried chicken. We were positively surprised by the quality of food at the Sutter Pub Restaurant. The food was served pretty fast after the order, and we didn't feel we had a long waiting period. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful and also recommendations as required. Our waitress was very attentive and made us welcome and appreciated, even if this was our first visit. With service like this, and with such a big beer selection and good food, we definitely come back to Sutter Pub and Restaurant. Ambience: 4/5 Staff: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Beer selection: 5/5 Price/quality: 4/5 (average prices, but very good quality)"

"Hype hype hype. I will describe this place as a chef inspired with Asian cuisine and wanted to bring it to San Jose. Love the idea just not the experience I had. The dishes that we had were comparable to tasting like it came from a package and microwaved. The price point on some of these items is ridiculously high. I get it, maximize profits. Priced higher than most food places serving these dishes in like a 3 mile radius. Service received was sigh is my shift over yet? I don 't want to be here but I need the money . My suggestion for this place: I love the idea of having variety of different cuisines on deck but take a step back and perfect it. Get it somewhat closer to authentic as you can. Price point needs to go down. Especially for the Vietnamese thit kho(braised pork). Management/person in charge needs to really focus on staff and raise the moral levels here."
