"I was in a rush and ordered a take-out order for myself and 3 co-workers. 4 burgers, 3 fries, 1 onion ring. When we unpacked the order at work (5 minutes drive from this location), we found 4 ice cold burgers, 2 fries and 1...onion ring. By ice cold, I mean ice cold, not room temperature. They tasted like they were put straight from the fridge onto the bun without hitting the cooktop at all. Disgusting, had to throw them out. We wished we could have taken them back but we were pressed for time and couldn't."

"Friendly service. My Asian Chicken salad was good. My granddaughter barely touched her pasta but we brought it home. Huge menu with lots of choices. I thought the lunch menu had a lot of variety"

"Always a nice experience here! The staff is so friendly and the owner is about to check everything. The atmosphere feels uplifted, but it is definitely comfort food, and the prices are reasonable. My mother and I always come to Costco for lunch!"

"Had their jerk burger and 2lb wings. Smithwicks on tap. The beer was just a little off somehow...not quite sure what it was, but tasted a little sour and just a bit flat. I suspect they haven't been cleaning their draft lines as often as they should. A well-run pub (and this one claims to be a best of British style pub) should make very sure they clean the lines regularly. Disappointing!The burger was good, the fries that came with it were very good! Delicious. The wings were also good, but we were disappointed in the portion size. 2lbs of wings turned out to be only 13 wings. They were fairly big, but somehow I suspect we didn't really get a full 2lb. A bit stingy on the dipping sauce too. Also, many other places will either include fries with their wings, or at least offer fries with them for just a dollar more. Here, you have to pay $5 for an order of fries if you want them along with your wings. The waitress was OK. Nothing special, not particularly attentive or friendly, but fine enough. The washrooms were very clean.So, overall we were happy enough with the taste of the food, but not very happy with their portions or pricing. Not at all happy with their draft beer."

"Worried about catching COVID then avoid The Portly Piper. We of us) sat at a table overlooking the entrance and watched dozens of people pour into the place with no contact name taken nor was their ID checked. It was a hit and...miss effort! I mentioned all of this to owner who said he would talk to his staff. Wake-Up idiot!! This virus has been with us for almost years, get with the program or loose your liquor license. We spoke with our server who was mortified. I suspect she will look for another job. It's places like this one that are responsible for all bars/restaurants being shuttered again! To repeat, avoid this place like the plague...unless you want it!!"

"$27 for a medium lasagna that had mediocre bland sauce, cheese only on the top and hardly any meat. Would be happy to spend the money if it was a tasty hearty lasagna but not for something I can throw together in 10 minutes."

"Our bartender/ server was so informative about the food as the menu had sooo many great sounding dishes that we will be back a few times to check them out. I started with the clam chowder which was by far the best I have had. I went for a down east style Donair that was very good. My wife really enjoyed her garlic shrimp and bacon Penne pasta. Good draft selection and a decent choice of wines by the glass."
