"A warm reception and a local pub feeling makes this place a wonderful overnight stay. The location is great, 15mins walk to the town centre and castle. The staff and management were friendly and helpful. The room had full facilities, a comfortable bed, and a nice addition of the veranda. The food was absolutely delicious, served fast and fresh. Will definitely recommend, and hopefully stay again next time I'm in the area. Rooms: 5"

"Traditional and very welcoming tee room with good vegan options. I ordered the vegan breakfast, which was simple, but satisfying and cost-effective. personally, I would have preferred linda mccartney or richmond, instead of the kind I got, and it was a shame that they had no mushrooms. worth visiting if they are in the opposite."

"I only had a fab lunch here! when we were in the three horse-hoe bar next door and thought we were going to try lunch here. we were not disappointed. the personal coveted the coffee beautiful. we ordered a blt and ham salad roll. they tasted beautiful and so fresh. my ham was so thick and a generous part that filled the brot completely. I would recommend this little to anyone irresistible. if I'm on this way next, I'm sure I'll come back!"

"My partner and myself enjoyed a beautifully presented cream tea of the highest quality. A lovely selection of sandwiches was accompanied by a home made scone with jam and cream, chocolate macaroon, and a cake of our choice. Endless cups of tea were enjoyed with a refill always offered. Exceptional value for money."
