"I have been told to eat here many, many times. I have heard the food is great. I was told that Sisters makes the best burger around. Finally I had a chance to try it out. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. First of all - the coffee here is awful. I can't remember when I have had such uninspired, lousy coffee. When the food arrived - my Mom - who had a deluxe burger - said her burger was burned. I admit they were well-done but I don't mind that in a char-broiled burger. In all honesty,the burger was mediocre. Not terrible and certainly not great. It was served with krinkle cut fries which I thought were terrible. I ate my burger but left my fries virtually untouched. I can't recall leaving that much food behind on my plate at a restaurant. The prices here are fantastic but the food - not so much. I may try something else next time but for a first experience we left unsatisfied. My mother preferred the burger she had earlier at Red Robin in Vernon. I wouldn't go that far as it was definitely better than that but I hated my burger at Red Robin so that doesn't make for a great comparison."

"If your looking for a " almost like home " cooking then Home Restaurant is the place to go! Great for the whole family or just nice visit with friends. The pie's are AMAZING! Great service even when it's crazy busy."

"After waiting for 25 minutes for breakfast(only 2 tables eating)we received a disappointing meal. I had to ask for new hash browns. Mine were a dark charcoal color as my partner a were fine. I received replacements when I had 2 bites of my omelette left. My omelette was good. My partner discovered a long black hair under his over easy eggs with just a couple bites left. Fruit flies in my water....no condements for the toast. Not sure what else I can say...not a great start to our Saturday."
