"Had been recommended woodleigh coach house for lunch by a family member and wasn't disappointed as food was very good and portion size was very good too. The only thing I would say to improve on is I had the chicken burger and it was simply stated as a chicken burger with BBQ sauce but came out southern fried so maybe they could say on the menu that it is southern fried, other than that fantastic place to eat, great portion size and fairly priced"

"Wasn't sure what to expect from the place. it's a proper old style pub, dark, and has that pub smell. Greeted by the landlord who made us feel welcome. We all sat at a table and drink order taken, good selection. We had preordered food as we were a large party bar 1, Hats of to the chef there the food was really good and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in that area. Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Tower Chicken Fillet Burger, Chocolate Lovers Trio Dessert, Full Rack or Half Rack of BBQ Ribs Served with Chips Peas Coleslaw"

"I visited here with my daughter and son. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the hunters chicken. The staff were polite and friendly. Will definitely be back for another visit."

"Lovely morning sat in the sun by the river and i could of sat by the river all day .. only thing I would say is after paying £3 for chips and only getting 12 chips is very poor"

"We have visited this pub once again as we had such a great reception on the last visit from the owner and all the staff they are so so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, super friendly and great food ! The pub has a roaring fire on a cold day which we sat next to some months ago, on this occasion on our return visit it was a gorgeous day so we sat outside in the garden terrace, nothing better than cider here on a hot day that's is for sure ! The great girl who had served us earlier came out after 20 minutes to see if we needed refilling !! The owner and the staff made us so welcome, and the food we ordered was lush ! We couldn't fault the service or the pub at all such a warm reception and the locals were so friendly and welcoming too thank you everyone at The Wyndham doing a wonderful job !!"

"We have takeaway fish from this van almost every week in Hemyock, but have also picked up meals from some of their other venues. Fresh Brixham and Cornish fish is fab, my favourite being hake. Lobster burger is good too. Dirty ole bird chicken burger was a revelation, a big portion too. We can't fault this outlet which consistently has the best fish and chips we've ever had. Staff are professional and very friendly too. The prices are cheap,for the standard of food."
