"Good food especially after a long day outside. Grubstake burger is packed with protein and is delicious. The onion rings are fantastic Also stayed at the Lodge and did find the rooms small/outdated. Seems like they could use a bit of deep cleaning/vacuuming, but all around a decent stay."

"Big last to stop in a coffee, cake or a piece of pizza. Look at her sandwich case. had a grilled delicious sandwich before it closed for the winter. do not pee from the veranda! it's been a couple of years since I was in the resturaunt, never stayed in the lodge, but those who have spoken a lot. the one time that I stopped for the restaurant, it was probably for a burger after a long day of paddling. but the resturaunt has a higher feeling, I know a few locals that go for special occasions."

"Such a great place in a picturesque location on Lake Summit. The staff was helpful and friendly. We chose a historical room, which is very small but clean and comfortable and all we needed. The breakfast is included and is delicious. We enjoyed sitting next to the lake and taking in the view. The lodge has canoes and kayaks that the guests can use on the lake."
