"Our waitress was... Well simply on point with everything. Got our order right first try and I have a very picky granddaughter and she made her smile so big because she got her order right to the letter. Our waitress was also our cook lol She was very sweet friendly the restaurant was very clean and our waitress/cook Mrs.Tina sure has made my granddaughter a regular lol."

"The staff is great!, everyone was so attentive and beautiful and effective. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste well, was made so loooong before. I usually go to BK, Cuz the food tastes the opposite. Except that, great team!"

"Cook out is fast in service and pleasant with really good burgers and the shake was so thick you needed a spoon. Plus the peaches were big and couldn't come up the straw. I try to stop when ever I go into the Carolina's!"

"Grew up in roanoke rapid and 2nd street luncheon was the place to eat. I just came back from a visit and of course I had to stop and eat a burger fully dressed. amazing chili and the best koleslaw ever. You can still get your koks in glass bottles."

"Looking for a decent place to eat in Roanoke Rapids while staying for the night. We had read the reviews on line and figured to give it a try. I will say the steak I had was very good. Juicy and tasty. The shrimp skewers were OK, a bit too salty for my liking. We tried the sweet potatoe fries which were good. We had the very good onion rings. My wife tried the salmon and it was too dry for her liking. Stick with the steak options and you should good. My son had a burger that was OK as well. Didn't try any of the desserts. I will say seating outside got us a table fast, but not worth dealing with the huge quantity of flies that settled on your food throughout the meal. I would give this place a 3.5 overall."
