"Stumbled upon this place while in San Francisco looking for a tex-mex type place. It was sooo good. Carne asada was well seasoned, cooked really well, flour tortillas tasted homemade. Fried plantains were sweet, with the addition of the black beans took it up a notch."

"The food is great! Didn't get to order any last night 10/1/23. Went in around 9:15pm to order a quesadilla and margaritas. Got told that they were only..."

"The prices are very inexpensive and the staff is very friendly. The interior is low key, with a practical charm. The food was ok. I got a burrito with only chicken and cheese. The chicken didn’t have much flavor, but I suspect if I’d have added more ingredients it would have been better. But the cheese wasn’t melted at all, which kind of ruined it. Perhaps I should’ve gotten a quesadilla."

"If you like Chipotle.... Pasilla Mexican Grill has a lot in common with Chipotle. If you like the burritos at Chipotle, I am pretty sure you would like the burritos at Pasilla. This is more your city slicker burrito than your big kitchen sink mess of a burrito that you get at a hole in the wall in the Mission.<br/ <br/ 1. Spicy Chicken Burrito This was a good burrito. The ingredients were fresh and the burrito was put together well. The chicken was tender. Personally, if I return, I will probably get the normal chicken burrito. The spicy chicken did have a smoky flavor to it but there was something I didn't quite like about it. Overall though, it was still a good burrito.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ 2. The chips and guacamole (especially the guacamole) are very similar to Chipotle. The guacamole was fresh with the primary flavors being avocado and lime. The chips were good but not world class.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ 3. They do have a small sauce bar with around four different sauces. Their medium and hot salsas were good. There was also a fresh jicama salsa that looked unique. I should have tried it but didn't.<br/ <br/ 4. The place is small. Probably sits only around 8 people. So, it is better suited for carry out. It is clean and neat though.<br/ <br/ 5. The service was friendly, polite, and fast. I went in a slow period though. I am not sure how they hold up when it is busy.<br/ <br/ Overall, I would return. It is a pretty good burrito made from fresh ingredients."
