"We were directed here by the staff at Kipling Ranch! Our food was AMAZING! And the staff was so kind!!! The best poke we had on our trip. All of the ingredients tasted super fresh. Will definitely come here again if we’re able to make it back to Kaua’i!"

"Verde is not your average Mexican restaurant. Generally, food is lighter and not loaded with heavy cheese and rice. Instead, light on the cheese and a bit more cabbage/in-law. Very delicious. The exchange was excellent. The coconut/mango vegan flan (caramelized with a torch) was decadent fantastic. Drinks are expensive and slightly weak. Prices are high and rice/beans are not included in the main meals."

"Had taco bell, from 7 states, and more than 49 different restaurants. eating is about the staff and their administration. we arrived late, on the way back from a trip to the north side of the island. I needed a quick dinner on the way back to the hotel. Now it's taco bell, so we all know what we want. they were fast, efficient and in front of location. not all taco Bell’s are the same. this is a top 1% land here for some bombs/ burritos/ service."

"Fast food casual Mexican fare right of the main drag in Lihue. It was busy (always a good sign) but the 3 wait staff rocked it, working like a real team. The alcoholic drinks were really good. Loved the Mahi Mahi tacos. All fish dishes are market price. I think it was around $18. Don't be tempted to order the tres leche.... you'll be disappointed by the gummy texture, bland taste, small size and overpriced."

"Limited menu items (post covid) but you still have a good selection to choose from. We had the Beef Nachos, Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla, and Garlic Shrimp Taco. All of these were more than enough for two ppl. Service was quick and good. Atmosphere was nice."

"This is one of my fav spots for locally healthy organic food when I am on the island. very healthy and tasty choices. salad, wraps, fruit peels, smoothies. I've never been disappointed and they can get off the bike and hiking trail in the east side of the island."
