"We visited Shiraaz on a recent trip to Geelong convinced it was affiliated with the delicious Melbourne restaurant of the same name. We were apparently wrong about the connection but the meal was enjoyable enough. I did find the tandoori chicken and chaat quite spicy for my palette and needed to request some yoghurt which wasn’t the easiest thing to do given the lack of attentiveness from the staff. Fortunately I managed to procure some before catching fire and I found the butter chicken far more manageable heat wise"

"Best Indians in Geelong by far. Since the discovery a few months ago we are at least every week for delivery (very after Leopold). Korma is a due to butter chicken, mango chicken, lemon rice, chili chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka and poppadoms. Tasty avocado sauce with poppadomen. Supplier is always really nice :)"

"Okay, 5 stars, because I've never had a disappointing meal here !!!! Wonderful food! Last time, I got to take away and my mind was blown away from the Goa fish curry. Could have credited by luck! Time before the service was a bit shabby, but for later, as it was a busy night and things happen. Great place and certainly a favorite in Geelong."

"An impromptu visit on a Friday night found the Kohinoor only moderately busy. Unfortunately we didn't know that it was a BYO restaurant so only soft drinks for us! The samosas were lightly spiced with a light pastry, the lamb curry in a coconut and...cashew sauce was delicious. The accompanying coconut rice was fantastic. The naan bread was light and very garlicky but so tasty. The service was good and the meals were of a reasonable portion and price. Well worth a visit."

"Our experiences with takeaway food, other than fish and chips and pizza, are not good, but I take my hat off to Khan Curry Hut. Their Indian transports brilliantly, and we could not sense any variation from what we got in house. Khan was friendly,even...under the close-down stress, and they were just great to do business with."
