"It's a bit ironic but New York Fries is totally Canadian and does not exist in New York much less New York City! A trip to the mall is not complete without my Braised Beef Poutine sporting freshly cut, freshly cooked fries topped with cheese curds and braised beef (angus cubes, carrots, onions and mushrooms in a red wine sauce. Occasionally I make a break and have the Butter Chicken but most often it's the beef. Add California seasoning and malt vinegar and it is ready to go. MMMMM - delish! It's a meal in a bowl - no need for anything else but a drink!"

"My wife and I decided to try this new restaurant. She ordered the reuben sandwich along with a salad, water and slice of lemon in it. I ordered the Bison Burger with fries and a cup of coffee. Water and coffee came fairly quickly, no lemon for the water. Coffee was lukewarm and not hot. Seemed to take forever to get our meal. Fries were fresh cut potato The burger bun was too small for the amount of lettuce and garnish they put in with the burger. Soon as you took a bite, most of the stuff just squished out all over the plate and your hands, the bottom of the burger bun was very soggy. Ended up eating most of this with a knife and fork. The reuben was a mess to start with, the bread was very thin slices and very soggy. My wife finally pulled all of the bread out and put it aside. Waitress came over and we explained it to her. Very sorry and left. Supervisor came over short time later and told us they would take 15% off the bill. Coffee was $2.50, Reuben sandwich was $14.50 and the Bison Burger was $15.50. Kind of high price for what you get. Probably will not go back."

"I tried this place out based on good reviews on Google, tripadvisor, etc.. Big mistake. They are very friendly there but the food was just awful. It is by far the worst indian food I have ever had - I have had better curries come out of a jar. The meat is low-quality with too much fat and skin, the sauces are essentially flavourless, and the samosas are bloody terrible. Add to that the exorbitant prices and I will NEVER go there again.If you are looking for real indian food, leave KW. Guelph has Spice Roots and Diwa, Hamilton and Ancaster have India Village (two locations run by a really knowledgeable husband and wife from India), and there are dozens of fantastic restaurants in Toronto. Just look elsewhere. There really aren't any great places around but Empress and Masala Bay are at least passable if you really must have Indian. Even Kismet at the University plaza is much better."

"I received an advertisement in the mail from Valpac. The little pamphlet inside for Modern India Restaurant had the lunch buffet for $8.99. I took my two sons and myself here today for lunch and when I presented the paper to the guy he refused to honour it. He said it was not a coupon and that he didn't know where I got it from. I explained it came in the mail and that he should give us the lunch for the price advertised he told me no and that the price for the buffet is $10.99. I refused to be treated unfairly especially since I drove out of my way the the lunch deal. We left and I will never go back again and plan to tell everyone I know of my experience with this SCAM!!!!!"
