"I don’t generally review fast food as the quality and service are always on par and being nationwide and long established they have recipes and service already set.That being said I stopped at sSteak ‘n Shake on my return journey from vacation. I choose the restaurant because it was super hot and the have styrofoam cups which stay cold way longer than the average cup.I went through the drive thru do I can’t attest to service inside but if it was anything like the drive thru than this location is top notch. From the moment the order taker spoke you got the impression that you made their day by stopping in. She exuded genuine happiness to speak with you. It was like your mother welcoming you home. It wasn’t the fake pleasant platitudes that those who have worked in the service sector have mastered. She really made my day and perked me up. This genuine warmth carried over to the window for payment and pickup of my food. That gentleman had the same air of warmth as my order taker. You could honestly see that his smile was real as it extended to his eyes. I wish this location was closer to me than the hours away it is as I would frequent them a lot just for that welcoming feeling.My cashier according to the receipt was Kathy and she was just wonderful. I don’t know the name of the gentleman at the window but they are definitely this locations winning team. They made my day!!! Worth a stop in to get that warm welcoming feeling."

"It was my first time coming to Steak 'n Shake and I can say that I really liked the food and service. It was overall a good experience and I can definitely see us returning. The fries were also a generous amount and I loved them. Very thin and abundant."

"What can I say? Use their coupons and get an excellent value. Yesterday my wife and I ate there, 2 double cheeseburgers and fries, onion rings and a milkshake. Our bill before coupons: $13. After coupons: $6.50. We rarely eat out but when we crave fast food, this is where we go."

"I was pleasantly surprised. Last few times I've been at this Steak and Shake service was horrible food was cold the staff acted like they couldn't care less if you were there or not. Against what I thought was my better judgment I went there on request of my wife. Didn't really want to. Glad I did got a new manager has totally turned the place around I highly recommend if you want a fantastic steak burger and a delicious milk Shake you need to go to the Steak and Shake period. I was extremely pleased at the turn around this Steak and Shake made. it was like night and day. My congratulations to the new manager at Steak and Shake you've got the ship sailing in the right direction!"
