"We stopped in here on our way to the ferry. It’s a casual spot. You order at the counter. I felt that it was pricey for counter service. Our total came to $40 for two meals and two coffee. Food was good, but wasn’t served piping hot. However service was quick!"

"I had the PNW Benedict and it was superb. My only issue was how large the serving and I couldn't finish it. Service was excellent and my only negative comment was that it was a little cold inside, but the coffee really warmed me up."

"The two stars are for the best butter huh I ever had and for the ease of the staff/owner. but unfortunately, although I have been here several times, the service is so slow and deorganized, we will not come back to quite awhile. I see the helpful sign on the door and I know that this is a hard time for restaurants. at our last attempt to dinate, we sat and said we could just order apps now, as the kitchen was muded, and could order after the arrival of the apps dinner. we ordered drinks and appetizers, and were told that one of the appetizers would last 20 minutes. after 35 min, no appetizers or drinks arrived and we left the restaurant after we had not ordered an evening meal yet! until then it was 7 o'clock. all this to say that I wanted to eat here love and use the groupon I got instead for taking. so delicious. but no longer try."

"Rude and aggressive owner and chef. He overcooked our food and was upset we asked for it to be recooked, only after the server insisted. Absolutely embarrassing experience. We will never be back. This was probably the worst experience we’ve ever had in our lives. Management and serving staff was nice, but we feel sorry for them."

"I got a hot cafe latte from Blackbird Bakery on my way to Bainbridge Island. The quality of their coffee is great. The customer service was fast and the ambience was amazing as well. I wish they were open later, as I went there around 3.55 pm and was afraid I wouldn’t be able to place my order. Fortunately, I saw quite a few people entering the cafe after I did. Overall, a nice choice for good coffee."

"This is the type of food you eat and think to yourself, I wish I could make this! My nieces and I each ordered a different savory waffle the All Day Breakfast with bacon and prociutto (why choose one? , the Cheesy Waffle with Tomato Soup, and the Grilled Chicken...it was hard to pick a favorite, they were all so good! The texture of the waffles were amazing...lightly crispy on the outside and fascinatingly light and airy on the inside. This is a newly opened place with a steady stream of customers from just word of mouth...anticipate long lines once advertising starts!"
