"I was here visiting Acadia National Park, and it was the first of two restaurants we ate at (we planned on cooking ourselves during our 9-day stay at our camp site). It was good, and I'd most likely stop here for the occasional wrap if I was local to the area. It was the first thing I ate that I didn't make for myself in awhile, so it was nice to sit down and enjoy it. I think it was a bit more than I'd want to pay for a wrap, but I think it's understood considering the location. I liked the clean atmosphere here, and the smoothies were flavorful."

"Had a great dinner at Side Street Cafe/ The Annex. According to our bartender/server, the same menu but different drinks. So technically we sat on the Annex side but it doesn't really change much. The margarita I had was well balanced and delicious, the food was flavorful and fresh and each member of the party ate every last bite of their respective meals. Special shout-out to the desserts which were on point!! We were able to enjoy a table outside but still under cover and the staff was very kind. The only struggle from our eyes is that our server who was also bartending wasn't able to be as attentive for speed of service and that's not her fault, she was wonderful! But the bar was busy and it was dinner rush. That is something you may need to consider. Enjoy!!"

"Food was delicious and the wait staff friendly and efficent. It was my husband's birthday and though I did not request anything special the food was special in itself) a birthday card was waiting on the table when we were seated and a free dessert was presented at the end of the meal. Lovely and thoughtful touch. Will definitely dine at Havanas again when in the area."

"If you are looking for an upscale restaurant with a more intimate atmosphere, this is your place. The surroundings are unique as the restaurant seems to be in an old house that has since been converted into a restaurant. The lighting is beautiful and the waiters are all very professional. Especially our waitress was very attentive and friendly. For our dinner we started with the crab filled mushrooms and the traditional lobster bisque, both were tasty enough. For our duck we both had the lobster Flieduccine - the flavors here were also decent and the amount of lobster in it was acceptable for the price we paid. We finished the night with their blueberry apple baskets with ice - it also tasted nice (although I am part of my own fruit warps that I make at home and Galyns did not convert me, ha). Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would recommend you to give them an attempt if you are in Bar Harbor. You are located right in downtown near the port, perfect location for a walk after dinner."

"They had some amazing vegan flavors in the case this weekend from cappuccino Oreo, raspberry swirl, mocha fudge plus their usual almond milk soft serve. We got their vanilla chocolate swirl soft serve it was very good! Their hard ice cream vegan options sounded so divine!"

"The search for restaurants that are open can challenge during the next season we were so glad that we found this gem. the place is sweet. the food was so good. our wonderful server, newton, was incredible! we have the French toast (very fluffy and tasty), maine blueberry pfannkuchen, eier benedict and yogurt with homemade granola. everything was 5 stars and cheap. free parking on the street, at least in the april when we visit. we loved all the auto-decoration. the only disappointment of my sohne was not to see any real cats, but this is probably a good thing with eating. hay"

"Delicious and very well marked vegan options! I had the pancakes and my wife had the spicy tofu scramble, both were delicious. We ordered takeout because we were starving from our morning hike and didn’t want to wait for a table — our order was ready within about 10-15 minutes of placing it online, we took a 3 minute walk and ate in the park overlooking the harbor. Fast, delicious, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!"

"My sister and I stayed one night in the inn and we were very happy. the location is very favorable to foot in the inner city bar harbor area. there are also parking spaces in front of location. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with several vegetarian options. the owners also had a delicious snack on the afternoon. we would stay here definitiw again! updated by previous review on 2018-11-20"
