"Best clam chowder! It really lived up to the hype. The sourdough bowl was nice and tangy, giving a nice flavor to the chowder. Their fries and onion rings were also amazing. They have a fantastic view of haystack rock from the almost anywhere in the dining room and there's a neat little gift shop right at the front. Our waiter was friendly and attentive as well. Definitely worth a visit!"

"Very impressed. Inside and outside dining available, and if you've a quiet dog you can have them while dining outside. Staff was very prompt and polite. We ordered a calamari appetizer and had no sooner finished it that our bead bowl clam chowders arrived, perfect timing. The chowder was excellent. The bowls keep it hot and it wasn't too peppery. The sourdough bread bowls were themselves very good, almost sweet. I was very surprised when we asked and they aren't made from scratch in house. They get them from Franz in Portland. The prices are on the high side but in my opinion you're getting what you paid for. I would absolutely return here to try out their dinner menu."

"They offer gluten-free crepes, made with buckwheat flour. Very recommended, even if you eat gluten. The buckwheat flavor was so good with the ivory crepe (the Fort Stevens with smoked salmon), the crepe was light and the fillings were generous. The next day wanted to come back with the rest of the family, but they were closed! I wish I had ordered more than I had the chance. We look forward to our next trip!"
