"Family visit; we found all of the staff, of which we met three, extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely food, generous sandwiches (both meat and veggie), good coffee and interesting sausage rolls. Lots of outside seating although we were fine inside at lunchtime out of season even with a buggy. Would happily return."

"Have both today a large tray of fish pie. Presented really nice but after taking it out of the oven felt really disappointed. Fish pie cost £11 . It was hard to find a piece of fish! Few pieces of garden peas That’s all! Would not go for it again. As I said very disappointing experience!!! "I love a bit of a walk, and when you show up in canterbury city center after a beautiful high time near we came across the beautiful tiny tiny Tim’s tea room on a scenic looking small street in the shadow of the huge cathedrale. I live in brixton, where nothing is very graceful at all, so love a small village with a view of the place, and tiny tim is up there."

"Love this place, we come here every weekend. amazing breakfasts, not cheap, but the money for all high-quality ingredients and the chefs are wonderful- pochierte eier are every time perfect! small menu, but also for vegetarian quite good. very friendly staff, good service, even if they are busy. highly recommended!"

"This was the reason for our short break, our intention was to take the coastal hike from whitstable to the restaurant, but the typical bloody British weather ruined this plan as it was poured with rain! So we arrived with the taxi. at least large local products served in such a relaxed casual atmosphere. a michelin star pub that is a restaurant, but still feels like a pub. eating was great, loved the presentation of the oysters, the lamb main and greengage soufflé were perfection!"

"Not exactly luxury. Service was bad and they served afternoon tea sandwiches in subrolls and with chips! For a "luxury restaurant in the middle of a city, the gluten-free option were minimal only 1 pancakes and they had run out. Just a visit worth a cake or scones, but nothing more."

"I had the poached eggs on bread and a chai latte. The eggs and bread were cooked nicely, but I thought the lack of butter on or with the bread a little stingy! The chai was one of the nicer ones I've tried. A few typos on the menu seems a little unprofessional. Sat in the terraced area which was quite nice, gets you a bit of sun. Overall a good experience."
