"We often come in late at night. We have always been greeted by a lovely lady with grey hair, a lady with a black ponytail and glasses and a lady with brown hair who has big eyelashes at closing time. We always have a smile and say Thankyou but this evening we were Id’d for a monster which is fair enough, my friend didn’t have hers and instead of just telling us politely like we all know she should’ve she decided to raise her voice and be almost aggressive telling my friend ‘put it back and get another quick we are trying to close we wanna go home’ please remind your staff she gets paid to be there so the aggressiveness and nasty attitude only made us all uncomfortable. My friend then said ‘no take your time’ and your staff member says ‘the slower you go the less you get’ then walked away to talk about us to the lady next to her. All 4 of us have been in customer service for years and know that that attitude would’ve got a disciplinary. There was also other customers who were older that didn’t get spoken too or ‘warned’ the way we did. Hopefully she was just having an off day."

"We called in here yesterday and we was shocked to see the state of there “fresh” fruit and veg was in. It was awful it looked like it had been there days without anyone checking through it. The woman who served on the butchers counter did not wash her hands after handling the meat before going on to serve us with a cooked fruit pie. Truly awful hygiene is practiced here. The staff are miserable and offer no friendly service at all. This place is a health hazard even the so called fresh mushrooms had given up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FARM SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. "

"We booked for Sunday lunch as a treat. We have not been here for a few years and certainly not since it’s refurbishment. The place is quite stunning to sit and the booths give a personal touch to a small party. The dinner was actually delicious and the 3 courses for £29.95 seemed ok. Until it came to the mashed potato!! £3.95 for a bowl of mash. Come on Mount P, surely this should be part of the meal? The veg was also limited and it was also extra for the cauliflower cheese! If a dollop of these had been on my plate I would be giving a full 5 stars. Instead this is just skimpy and skingy. We also had butter on the table but we’re not offered any bread. This should be a sumptuous special Sunday dinner for this price"

"I 've walked passed this place for years from the outside it looks like a little, dark greasy spoon , but to the contrary. It 's light, airy, the tables are spaced just nicely so as not to cram people in. It 's a really nice cafe! The staff were friendly, cheerful and polite. The menu was on the wall behind and above the counter, nice and clear. I had a mug of tea, (which was really hot) and a slice on Carrot cake, it came to £3.70 in total which I thought was very reasonable to eat in. My friend had a Cappuccino which she was really impressed with (really frothy). We have both agreed we 'll be visiting more regularly."

"Small café with personal service and good food.Specials board and the lady is always making home made cakes and other dishes.Bonus is it opens at 8 am which is earlier than other cafes if you need an early start."
