"For when you want a noodle stir fry dish that?s gluten free- order the rice noodles and the red curry sauce. (Full disclaimer: this is actually the five soy spice sauce which is NOT gf. But I was weak ?. Actually tho, I was kinda disappointed cause I think the red curry tastes better now that I?m used to it. It?s creamier and more savory)."

"Mediocre food and abysmal service. 15 minutes passed before we had to ask for water and our server (we had a reservation and they knew we were there). The ragu is fine, but my partner described his meal as the worst he's had in Hoboken. Tough, chewy, unpleasant. There are plenty of places around here with unideal service but amazing food. This is sadly not one of them."

"It's been a long time since I've been to Gogi Grill and I thought to stop in for a grab and go dinner. The owner was my manager's wedding photographer and this was a dream of his. I know they opened a second location in the city. Happy to see this dream become a flourishing reality. The meal I ordered today was my favorite. It's a bit saltier than I remember, but I alternate from the vermicelli to the salad bowl depending on my hunger level. This will keep you satiated for a long work day. They now have two kiosks to order from when you walk in. I know a handful of the fast casual places in Hoboken have switched to this, but here they are also able to take your order as you are ready. This method helps save time at the register. I'm always happy with a restaurant that offers Ito En's classic green tea as well! After at least 5 years in business, this is now a classic to me and it has outlasted many restaurants in the area."

"Soul Curry is a contemporary Indian restaurant which is a new addition to the Hoboken food space. The restaurant has generated some great buzz in the area and had recently visited them with a group of friends. It was a pleasant surprise, the menu was pretty simple and quiet unique, food was fabulous, the ambience was great and service was wonderful. The restaurant has great vibe, the red brick wall and the Indian murals give it a modern look with the perfect lighting to set the right atmosphere. FYI, the restaurant is BYOB only and they also seem to have outdoor seating to enjoy the summer weather. It being an Indian restaurant, it 's needless to say the food was pretty vegetarian friendly. Reading all the reviews, we tried 'Naanchos ' which is an Indian take on Nachos. Its a pretty unique dish where they serve nachos and cheese with mint and tamarind sauces. The mint sauce is spicy and refreshing where as the tamarind sauce is sweet and tangy setting the right balance. We also tried the samosa chaat and it was pretty authentic. For the mains we tried Paneer Butter Masala and Mixed Vegetable Curries with some Garlic Naan Cheese Jalepeno Naan. The Paneer Butter Masala was their most popular veg option but found it a tad too sweet and can definitely be improved. The mixed vegetable curry was great and the Naans were fresh and fluffy. The Cheese Jalepeno Naan was something new I tried and was pretty good. We also has the Indo-Chinese Vegetable Fried rice, the rice was pretty flavorful and tasty and can easily serve more than 2 people. And finally we tried the Desserts. I was super excited to try the Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee, it was a great fusion between the classic french dessert creme brulee and the famous Indian gulab jamun. The dish was pretty cool and very unique, and it had the characteristic caramelized crunchy crust on top. We also tried the kheer, it was simple but very tasty, probably one of the best kheers I tried in the States. Recommendations: Appetizers: Naanchos, Samosa Chaat Mains: Mix Vegetable Curry Desserts: Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee, Kheer Overall its a must try restaurant with a unique perspective on Indian food."
