"If they are not sure whether they like vietnamese or not, they must try vu’s. we are four couples who go once in the month to different caffes / restaurants and are for the last thirteen years or so. a walk in vu’s was wonderful. the ambiente was...big and clean, the service was great and the eating was so fresh and hot. there are also many elements on the menu, so there is something for everyone. corkage was 3.50 per head if wee, the not too bad trips near perth. would recommend and we will return soon. oh and the prizes are also over the top."

"Went for the afternoon. Staff were slightly uninterested at times, if you weren't a local it seemed. However Harcourt cider on tap, very tasty snacks. Dinner a bit expensive so didn't stay for that. Overall a lovely pub Would go again to see if it was just an off day"

"First (and last) visit to this place. After paying, a voice from out the back commanded I be charged extra for my (free) drink. I complied. As soon as I opened the package containing my souvlaki, I was overcome by the smell. It wasn't even possible to determine 'what' kind of meat it was. Straight into the bin. I have read reviews here which praise the variety of the menu. Don't be fooled, their offerings are miserable. Overall, the place is pretty grubby, including the staff. Lots of 'wiping hands on pants etc'. This business has been for sale for a long time, that it hasn't sold is not surprising. A truly horrible experience."

"Second time dining here but first for dinner. The food was very well presented as you can see from the picture. The highlight for us would definitely be the cold soba as we do not know where else we could find them in Perth. Would definitely return. Be sure to make a reservation if dining in."

"We go there regularly and it has been always consistent.Love the Panner do pyaza dish. Very authentic dhaba style curry reminds me of dhabas on Delhi highways. The naan is fresh and really soft. We go to lots of Indian restaurants and love to try new ones but naan at Chawla are the best in Perth.The staff are ever so sweet and always happy to accommodate any special requests. We have been there fairly late a few times but they never push you to hurry. Will definitely recommend!!!"
