"Tried 2 times now . Was told it's the best in Leyland . The chips went in the bin . Worse chippy around . Chips cooked so many times there like lumps of fat . Fish like it's been cut on a bacon machine . Must be a Penny pinching owner ."

"This place is a hidden gem, I have driven past so many times but have just never been in. Me, my mum and sister visited and had the autumn afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, we have had many afternoon teas over the years and this is definitely one of the best we’ve had. Everything was so delicious, the sausage roll was something else and the sandwiches lovely and soft. You could tell lots of effort had gone in to every little bit. The apple crumble with warm custard part way through was a lovely surprise too and the unlimited tea and coffee is a massive bonus. A special mention must go to the lovely girls who were serving us as they are a credit to you. We can’t wait to come back again very soon. Thank you for a lovely afternoon :"

"Our latest takeout last weekend was way below Diraj usual standard. Dried up, probably re-heated samosas, bhajis shish kebabs, the garlic naan had the garlic butter slapped on top wasn't cooked through properly, not edible. C'mon Dilraj, standards are slipping, we won't be bothering again any time soon."

"Huge slippers with a large selection of warm and cold fillings, but for me the highlight must be the cake made after home in every taste they want with brows and gravy naturally!"

"Cash prices have risen dramatically in this week, significantly above inflation. average over £4 a pint for even the cheaper beer, almost £5 for small wein. While I understand that the costs are rising in all sectors, I cannot understand that marstons think that 25p or more. add to a pint if wetherspoons only added 10p. the menu also seems more expensive than it was. I wasn't the only customer who thought the cost was excessive, as I heard other customers coming between themselves and the personal. if the pubs want to withdraw the people after the pandemic, this is not the way to do it. Back to a £1 can be home from the super market for me, the additional £3 of marstons added is a freedom!"
