"My teenage son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in April. I briefed Facebook to ask if they had the carabin counts of their ice so that he could still enjoy them on holiday. They said that he chose a few flavors and they would get us the information if then opened in May. I got a fb message just before the commemorative day saying that they now have all the crazy information on their website. We went last night and asked the creators to make sure that he only got 3 small pots, not huge as they usually do, because he had only taken enough insulin for 3 pots. They were amazing and made sure it was right and it was crazy at the time!"

"Lobster roll and clam chowder were delicious. Only lobster meat in the role and much of it. Had a choice of butter or Mayo. Bbq chicken package was also delicious. Order in the window, find a seat, inside or outside, and they bring the food to you. We will definitely go back."

"Waited about 20 minutes when we went here and the food was so tasty! Be mindful that it’s cash only. Service was quick and coffee was good. No complaints, and I’d recommend the lobster Benedict!"

"Decided we didn't have time to make a birthday cake and my wife ended up calling Bread and Roses had never heard of them. I have to say, this was as good a cake as I have ever had and I've eaten my share of cake (pies and cookies as well : . We brought it to the party and it was a huge hit. I highly recommend this bakery if you want to make an impression on family and guests."

"We had dinner there tonight and was very dopey we did. We u understand help is hard to find now but our server was the worst I’ve had in many years. She was lazy and did not know how to do her job or even care to. When we finally got our food it took her 10 minutes for her to check on us. My prime rib was dry and tough. She said the cook would make me a steak if I wanted but by then my party would all be done with their meals so I said no. They took 50% off my meal. They never should have charged me for it. It was not busy at all . Mikes clam shack and the steak house were packed. Now I know why. We live in Wells and have been here several times with no issues. I’m not sure I will give it another chance. This experience was not just bad but awful. Too many good restaraunts around to take chances on bad food and service. I hope management makes some changes. U can’t stay open on the name only. Sorry Joyce Renna 207-251-8484"

"I would compare The Steakhouse to an upscale Texas Roadhouse. The food is excellent, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming and country themed. I ordered the petite filet mignon, the baked potatoe, and rice pilaf for the main course, the cheese fries for an appetizer and lastly the cheesecake for dessert. All or which tasted very well. The only reason why I would rate it slightly below 5 stars is that for a Steakhouse the steak was very tender, but had no seasoning/marinade to it. So while it was tender, it was lacking flavor. In addition to this they did not have any bearnaise sauce available. I would recommend this place for those looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. I will be going back for sure."

"Nice to eat cafe. Not very busy and our server was very attentive to our needs. We had everything you could eat spaghetti and the taco salad. Both were very tasty and tasteful. I think they're a little proud of their food through the prices they charged. We had only water to drink because they wanted about 4.50 for a soda. Only under $40 without the top."
