"We were finally happy to have found such a nice location near our home to bring the guest that often visit us and really were looking forward to the nice looking food. Then the waitress came and asked us in a polite way to tell the children not to play but rather sit on their chairs. I politely told her that i will try, but can not promise that because I would never force my children to SIT as adults or even worse, give them a phone to watch some youtube, just because they don 't like children. The waitress said that they would disturb the guests outside while running, even though there was just a couple at the table and they never said anything. Long story short, the waitress told us 3 times that the children should stop playing and at the end, the manager/owner came and tried to explain again while saying that the wooden chairs would cost 600 CHF a chair and once a child broke a glass so they don 't like children to play inside or outside. SHE EVEN SAID THEY SHOULD PLAY ON THE STREET BECAUSE it is a 30 KMH zone so there is no danger. At the end she literally invited us to never come back again because maybe this is not the right restaurant for us ... really sad cause the food and ambience are very nice but parents with free children, think of the story above before going there and if you go, prepare your iphone to make them sit in front of it. I am sure the manager will read this so I am writing to her again what i nicely told her: If you ever wish to have children and will have them, think of what you told to me when you go in a restaurant. "A quiet Sunday lunch time with many free tables, so the service was not busy. Eat well, but it was served quickly. The first part of the main course came before we even finished our salad starter. 2nd part of the main came literally as soon as we... our cutlery down to a breath. In and out of the restaurant in one hour (including desserts). Although it was quiet and not busy, it seemed like the restaurant did not want customers to eat their food in a relaxed way and it was all a rush. We can return, but now know to demand a few minutes delay between courses."

"High quality, well seasoned (sometimes almost too well seasoned food for a very high price (even by Zurich standards . The lentil salad, for example, costs 16 euros and is (not an exaggeration! only three tablespoons. You can do it, but it certainly won't be my favorite place. But the food is very tasty across the board."

"My husband and I are so glad we found this restaurant in our own neighborhood! Not sure what took us so long but we had an amazing dinner last night. We loved all the creative, tasty courses and the wine pairings as well. In addition, the restaurant feels cozy but private with only four tables. We really enjoyed the friendliness of one of the partners who was also our excellent server and sommelier. Overall, wonderful experience and we will be back soon!"

"Always passing by I wanted to visit this place since quite a while. Finally yesterday we made it and I was very positively surprised. It was quite late already and I wasn’t even sure if the kitchen was still open. But they made every effort to still serve us a fantastic meal and never pushed us to hurry up. We chose a 300g Argentinian Angus Côte steak and the spareribs plus one portion of country fries. Both meals were delicious, the meat super tasty, the sauces a very nice addition and the fries crunchy. And the location is great as well. If you haven’t been to Irchel park yet it’s definitely worth a visit by its own. The restaurant has a great terrace overlooking everything. I’m sure the next visit working be far away."
