"Our family group of 11 walked over from The Post Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. We had to split into two tables as the place is small but we were not disappointed by the food. We loved it so much that we ordered take out the next night!"

"We were staying at the hotel and wondered out looking for a meal at a reasonable price. In the end we decided to go back to the hotel and were very surprised to find that the prices were respectable and the food excellent. It is just on the outskirts of the centre so is worth the trip even if you are staying at another hotel."

"Big shout out to this place, it really is such a gem in Banff. The bar manager Frank went out of his way to look after us, so hospitable and friendly. We were served most days by the lovely and polite Scott, he is a credit to you. But if you want fun and a drink, the best brisket in town, authentic country music, saloon atmosphere, this is the place to go!!"

"I ate here with my dad.got a chicken burger. it came out fast, but I was so hungry I didn't think too much of it.Before I even left the restaurant I was curled over in my chair, suffering the oncoming effects of food poisoning.I spent the rest of the night curled over in agonising pain, vomiting and splattering out both ends. The next day was spent the same way too.I avoided the place for awhile after that, but decided to drop in again with some friends and NOT order the chicken burger!it took forever for the waitress to take our order and then they forgot to put it in to the cook. so we waited forever and then finally asked about our food, then we were told they forgot and had to wait another 30 minutes.when our food arrived, my friend found a piece of metal wire from the grill cleaning brush in her burger. You know..the pieces of metal that get stuck in your digestive system and have almost killed some people !we were absolutely disgusted with the place after seeing that. we got as much a refund we could get and got out of there...never to come back.seems like the cooks don't care at all. most of them are only around for the summer,as most of the workers in the bow valley are transients..so they don't care how they serve your food, how long it takes or if you get food poisoning or a piece of metal in your stomach and possibly die from it.I will never eat here again and I would only recommend it to my enemies.2 times in a row this place has been a horrible health concern to me and my friends! get your act together!"

"This place might not look like much from the outside but don’t write of off. The service and the food are both on point. The outdoor seating has lots of umbrellas to keep the sun off. The inside is ok as well. The burgers are large and the portion of fries is very generous. The burgers come with all the fixings which you can remove anything you don’t like. The milkshakes are a do not miss."

"A beautiful hot and sunny day. A lovely ride on the chairlift up to the middle station on the mountain. Looking forward to drinks and a stunning view with lunch at this mountain restaurant. Oh dear, rather disappointed!We wanted a table on the patio and were happy to wait. The lady on the booking table explained that it was hot in the sun and for a table with an umbrella we would have to wait about 20 minutes. We said we were happy to do so. She suggested we could visit the information centre downstairs but we explained that we had already done so. I asked if we could look at the view on the patio while we waited and she looked a little displeased and said yes so long as we didn't get in the way of the serving staff! I didn't think this was a great way to treat paying customers but smiled and said that of course we would not! There was ample space on the patio for this not to be a problem.We did indeed get offered a table after about 20 minutes although when I heard our name called and approached a waitress to say we were ready, she said I would have to find the supervisor inside even though my husband was waiting on the patio where the supervisor knew we would be. I appreciate that this is world- famous Lake Louise but the whole place was a tad over pretentious for my liking.Another point I noted was that if perhaps the restaurant could invest in a few more sunshades for the tables, queues for the spaces would be reduced and it would be a win win all round.The waitress was friendly and prompt so my husband ordered a glass of white wine and since I was driving, I ordered a mocktail mojito which sounded lovely. I asked what was in this drink and the waitress explained that it was lime juice, mint and soda with ice. I asked if I could have extra mint as I loved it and she was enthusiastic in her response. When the drinks arrived I was really disappointed! There were 2 mint leaves on the edge of the glass and no mint inside the drink. I tasted it and basically it was like Sprite! I said that it wasn't quite what I expected and the waitress said 'that is how they are served in Canada'. I added that it wasn't really anything like a mojito and she said that the manager insisted they were made that way! Never mind what the customer wants I thought. I really was happy to pay more for the drink I really wanted but this didn't seem to be an option. The food was very tasty. I had the tomato and mozzarella salad and my husband had the strawberry and asparagus salad. We didn't feel valued as customers and although the chefs had done a great job with the food, we did not leave a tip."
