"Feeling absolutely robbed after paying my bill for a meal with my spouse for our anniversary. Asked the server if they could add the Kahlua $10 on the menu that my partner and I each wanted to have to a glass of milk. She brought us each a small glass of just that and I was shocked when the bill came to find that two glasses were $42, especially after considering premium signature cocktails on the high end were $17 each. I asked the server if the price was correct, and she said “it was just Fairmont prices”. Ultimately it was my fault for not asking for the price considering it was “off-menu” before ordering, but never in a million years I would have thought that I would be paying almost $50 dollars for two small glasses of milk and a bit of Kahlua. The food was great, but feeling absolutely taken advantage of on my five-year anniversary."
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in pleasant weather.

"I love the Pub portion part of this place. It is friendly place with sports on the. The staff are awesome. The bartenders can make awesome drinks. They even do a proper whisky sour. If it is a nice absolutely check out the patio. Amazing views!"

"We went here after seeing they had a free tour when walking past. I'd recommend booking in as our group was full. The tour was free and our guide, Austin, was the best ever! He was so informative and definitely knew his stuff. He was friendly and not over the top like some guides. The tour was about 20 minutes long and then we were invited to do a tasting for $20. We didn't feel pressured to do the tasting at all but wanted to do it anyway. Austin talked us through all the different spirits and answered every question our group had. You got quite a lot for the $20 and you could easily share it with 3 or 4 people. We also got a discount in the store after our tour. We didn't eat here but the food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled delicious! Overall a great experience and Austin was an awesome guide!"

"We went to Banff, where we went to dinner at the fairmont banff spring hotel. There is a flat full of restaurants, so we choose a grape called that we order pure tickets: French classic onion soup, duck, salmon and a dish of cheeses. the truth is currently my favorite restaurant and I did not taste the specialty: the fondues."

"New and upstairs in the mall but what a great little breakfast spot. Not fancy. Not trendy but good food. Great service and excellent (egg-cellent) selection. This could be our new go to for quick breakfast. They also have enough tables that there is not a line up to eat."

"This restaurant is great if you want a nice German dinner. Do chose the Pub if you want this experience. It is located downstairs from the main restaurant by the same name but the menus are different. We liked the food choices here better. Nice beers. Patio seating with view of mountains and river. Eat earlier then 10 pm because the mosquitoes come out. We had the chicken wings and the pork schnitzel dishes . Excellent. Service very good. Patio seating definitely recommended."
