"Wonderful experience! that was our first time in vail, so ofcourse we wanted to try a German restaurant. it was hard to find a reservation, but once we managed it was great! from eating to service. I would have liked the water replenishment to have been a bit more frequent, but everything else was spectacular. great ambiente! and our waitress was amazing!"

"We were in this hotel before and also at the restaurant before and last time we were very satisfied, so decided to book again. we sat in the lower winter garden. we ordered our drinks as soon as we set ourselves. our appetizers arrived and we ate them, but no cry. twice our waiter came to check us and noticed that our wee was not there. we even asked the girl who refills our waterglasses to hunt our wein. After 30 minutes we asked the waiter to get the manager, as we thought our wee would appear wonderful. a man who was perhaps a man came with the wee a few minutes later and seemed to all the others the debt for the 35 minutes waiting for our wee. he didn't get the ticket. there is something wrong with the cellar, etc. when our bill arrived, we were disappointed that there was no token of an apology represented on the bill, so after he asked the waiter, he said: "I wanted to give them free dessert than sign of our apologies, but it seems that they would rather go." we finally got a 10% discount on the bill that corresponds to the half of the money. I think we should have gotten that wee free. although we visited elways before this perhaps last visit in elway in vail, as we had to feel appalled from the whole evening. our waiter was very friendly and polite, but I feel we were forgotten in the winter garden."

"Stopped in for an early dinner and we sat on the patio. Staff was friendly and helpful, but they were understaffed. We ordered a bottle of wine, excellent! If you are a wine connoisseur or like to have alot of options, ask for the full wine list. The food was good, we ordered appetizers of croquettes which were delicious and we ordered duck prosciutto which is kind of misleading since it's really a salad with a couple pieces of duck. For main course we ordered breaded veal and fettuccini, both were great. Also we tried the seafood soup, broth was excellent."
