"Taverna Banfi has one of, if not the best weekend brunch buffets in town. The food is well prepared, pleasing to both eye and palate, and plentiful. We’ve been fortunate to have the same waiter last two times, and he is both attentive and entertaining. And the valet staff will park your car for you. Wonderful experience!"

"Valentines Day date we love ZaZa’s. This evening was as most excellent particularly considering it was very busy. The sauce on one of our dishes did seemed to have been overlooked not added. This was a disappointment for the correction/sauce came as the dry pasta was almost gone using the moisture of the clams. Though occasionally these things happen anywhere."

"I have lived in Ithaca for two years and this restaurant was the first time I felt I was a minority. My husband, daughter, and myself sat at our table for 20 min and no one took our order or bring us water. However, a white couple at the next table arrived later than us but ordered 15 minutes earlier than us. The waiters walked passed us multiple times yet they all ignored us. They wouldn’t take our order but took orders from people who arrived later than us. Many people who arrived later than us enjoyed their dinners earlier than we did, and we were the only ones waiting helplessly. We waved at the waiter, and they just told us “please wait,” but it seemed like we were the only ones who needed to wait. If you are not a majority, I strongly advise you not coming during peak hours."

"Was excited to try, the place is small but cute, with a few 2 and 4 tops with a communal table in the middle. I was interested in their pizza. The menu is pleasantly robust, something for everyone. Servers were pleasant. I ordered a margarita pizza. I didn’t want anything messing up the standard of all pizzas. Looked great (see photo). Unfortunately the crust was not crisp on the bottom and the pizza had a very smoky flavor almost like something burned in the oven. The cheese and sauce were good as was the flavor of the dough once you got past the smoked flavor. If you like a chewy smoky crust then this will be right up your alley. Hope this helps."

"The lambburger was the best I ever had. Provides, moist and juicy with a Greek spread. Full taste and delicious. The sweet potatoes fries well with it. My daughter had a panini she also enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this place. The service was also fast and good."
