"Good points: great access and plenty of space, iced chocolates are the best I've ever had (never fail to impress), portion size is large. Room for improvement: a smile and some friendliness with the service would go a long way; attention to detail is lacking... I asked for no cream on my iced chocolate which was noted down but still arrived with cream; my bagel was served cold, untoasted and unbuttered which despite the yummy salmon and salsa on top it desperately needed. Do I recommend it? No. Will I return? For the iced chocolate only (seriously it's that good, even if they don't serve it quite how you asked). There is a very high standard of food in the Southern Tas region and Timeless Way is well below the standard ie there are much better places to be eating than here!"

"Four of us (two couples) went here last night for the first time. (Just a comment: It was evening, so no plane movements to see, yet this seems to be what some people like, but we did not mind this.) Atmosphere was average, decor was basic. Drinks service was good. There was a large function in an adjoining room, which may have caused the slow serving of the meals. Myself and other male both had the garlic prawn and scallop main, which was perfect. One female had the swordfish which was dry. My wife had the marinated lamb, which was so salty and so overcooked to be "annihilated" that she complained, and subsequently had the fish and chips, which she said was also disgusting. She had been asked if she wanted Bassa or Flake, and she requested Flake, but she was served Bassa which was terrible and "fishy". After having complained about the first meal being so salty, the chips came out "covered" in salt. Neither women finished their meals. One would think that when a replacement meal is served, some effort would be made. None of us will be back and as we live local we will mentioned this to others."

"The main restaurant has a good ambience and is family friendly. We had the scotch fillet which was grilled as requested med WD and the prawn linguine was spicy but delicious decent portions. I'm glad we discovered this place as it seems to accommodate...all ages groups especially in Saturday night."

"Some recent below par reviews whilst fair in their circumstances our group (6) found the overall experience excellent. We had some of the similar dishes including: the gnocchi (delicious), oysters (sweet and tasty), risotto (could have done with more truffles). Two steaks were ordered one perfectly cooked and the other a little under done than requested. Desserts were a massive hit all around. The meals are of a large size and designed to share if you would like which makes it a good place for groups. The service was excellent and nothing was a worry. The wine list could do with an injection of local Canberra offerings, only found one! Prices are above average but in the right bracket for the establishment. We had three courses with pre-dinner drinks, wine (2) and was $100 a head."
