"Es regnet!Die Lust zu einem Stadtbummel ist begrenzt.Auf geht es zum Wiener Café.Es befindet sich im historischen Kanzleigebäude.Einen der vielen Außenplätze können wir nicht nutzen.Doch es gibt auch einen Lieblingsplatz für schlechtes Wetter.Es ist das Literaturcafe.Von hier hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf dasBuddenbrookhaus und in die Fußgängerzone bis zur St.Jacobi-Kirche.Kaffee und Backwaren werden in der Tradition der WienerKaffeehauskultur hergestellt. Das müssen Sie probieren!Gern bin ich auch zum Frühstück hier. Es gibt verschiedene, nicht alltägliche Frühstücksvariationen.Ich bin ein Fan der mediterranen Variante.Nach einer ausgiebigen Pause in diesem schönen Café,brechen wir vergnügt auf und trotzen dem Regen."

"Im Innenhof sitzt es sich hier wirklich gut - selbst bei großer Hitze geben die Lübeck-typischen Backsteinwände noch ein bisschen Kühle ab. Das Essen war gut, vor allem originell: eine ordentliche Stulle mit dicken Leberkäs-Scheiben darauf und dazwischen Apfel-Fenchel-Salat. Die marinierten Hähnchenstückchen in meinem Caesar Salad waren lecker, nur leider war der Salat nicht ganz sauber ... und knirschte ein wenig zwischen den Zähnen. Zurückgehenlassen wollte ich ihn aber auch nicht, wir hatten trotz eines nur mäßigen Gäste-Andrangs schon einige Zeit auf unser Essen gewartet. Also vielleicht besser Stullen essen, die müssen nicht gewaschen werden :-)"

"Das Restaurant Media Docks liegt unmittelbar an der Lübecker Altstadtinsel. Von hier hat meinen einen tollen Blick auf die Häuser an der Untertrave. Selbst ist das Restaurant in einem renoviertem Hafenspeicher untergebracht. Das äußere Ambiente stimmt! Innen ist man dann etwas enttäuscht. Viel maritimer Nippes in kühler Atmosphäre. Die Stühle sind wahnsinnig unbequem. Das Essen war okay. Der Preis angemessen. Hier bekommt man bodenständige Hausmannskost zu Preisen, die in Ordnung sind. Aber Achtung, viele Touristen, die in Reisebussen anlanden (großer Busparkplatz unmittelbar vor dem Restaurant)."

"A perfectly delicious meal in a stylish yet relaxed setting. Mouthwatering and perfectly al dente tagliatelle with a flavour-packed veal ragout, real comfort food. Desert was equally good, absolutely loved the yoghurt-lime icecream, refreshing and exciting. Very nice service, attentive yet relaxed. Will definitely be back as soon as I can."

"A very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. there is something for every day and for every taste. eating is delicious and sufficient. brunchen is always good, even at the weekend. I would always reserve a table, especially at the weekend for brunching. the brunch is particularly recommended, although I prefer the Saturdaysbrunchen, as it is a little cheaper, and almost as on Sunday."

"We stumbled across this place just walking around Lubeck. We were surprised at the variety of the menu, with a huge selection of cocktails and different meals. I had the best whiskey sour I've ever had and my wife had a massive cocktail (caipiroska I think). Turns out it was a "jumbo" sized cocktail, but for the amount in it, it represented great value for money. We actually returned the following night just to grab a couple more of them. The food was tasty - we had nachos and enchiladas, both of which were large servings. The service was a little slow but overall it was enjoyable evening."
