"I'm not sure why this restaurant gets all of the five star reviews. My wife and I ate there last night and the food was good, but far from great. I ordered the steak in a red wine sauce and my wife ordered the fillet...of fish in a butter sauce. Both were just OK and nothing out of the ordinary. Other reviews have said this is one of the best restaurants in Tijuana. I cannot believe that this is the case. That said, our meal was very reasonable and the food was acceptable. With two cocktails and two glasses of wine, our meal with just under $55 without including the tip. Fairly attentive service, a nice setting, and valet parking. However, we are not likely to return."

"Amazing place !! Excellent food quality, service, atmosphere for a very fair price. Watching the ORIGINAL Ceasear Salad being made is quite an experience and even more delicious! I had the Seafood Risotto which was very filling , savory and well presented. My wife had the Lamb chops and she had nothing but good things to say about it. I highly recommend this historical place, especially if your a tourist or visiting the area; your trip will not be complete without it !"

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"
