"Amazing eating is just amazing how delicious and tasty was all we had for dinner. I wish I had my phone to me to make photos of eating. make sure they are hungry because they are large in portions. beautiful place and the personal is so beautiful that we enjoyed the chat we have with the dame that our booking and with their daughter. we will come back to the future."

"On arriving early, we were invited to have a pre-dinner drink in the bar and at our leisure relocated to the restaauraunt, which as ever has the olde world, warm, charming, inviting atmosphere. The menu is well thought out, leaving both my wife and i with positive dilemmas. The wine menu was a spectacle in itself, worthy of a hole celebration. Whilst we settled into our evening with bottle of Ripasso (served with aplomb and a few anecdotes from the owner the fantastic chef and his staff prepared a fantastic meal for us. The brie in filo pastry was my perfect starter, full of intricate flavours and texture, My wife's mushroom and bacon was a delicious and alternative interpretation of a well known dish. For mains, Kilcooleys excelled: I had the brill and scallops brill was full of meaty flavour, seared beautifully every bite mouthwatering, the perfectly cooked scallops provided a perfect balance with delicate saltiness.I didn't try my wife's Duck (sorry I'm not one for duck) but she was absolutely delighted with it, especially how crispy it was. Not wanting to roll out of the restaurant, we skipped desert in favour of an Irish Coffee and then retired to the bar for a night-cap.Management and staff were extremely friendly. In my opinion Kilcooleys are leading the way for fine dining in Ballybunion (without the unnecessary fuss). Bravo to all, keep up the great work. we are looking forward to our next evening out. Covid regulation compliance made our evening all the more relaxing and enjoyable."

"There is an amazing selection of ice cream and the quality is wonderful.The hot mini donuts with chocolate sauce are the best ever. The staff are very friendly and take their time to describe all the flavours and options The atmosphere in the shop is...vibrant and I love taking a table to enjoy my delicious ice cream. "Lovely hotel on the cliffs, staff are friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for dinner. Food was delicious and a great variety on the menu. Rooms are bright, clean and well maintained, sockets by the bed and lovely power shower in bathroom. Will definitely return again."
