"Best bowl of yogurt with big chunks of fresh fruit that you will *ever* have! One of our favorite places out of all the places we visited in Greece! Giorgios is such a friendly guy and an amazing host! We made a daily tradition of eating breakfast here every day while we stayed in Chania. We miss you, Giorgios!"

"That is still at our favorite places in kreta, the staff is beautiful and eating is absolutely fantastic. yes, the price can be a bit high for Greek standards, but this is logical for the quality of the food they get!"

"We stopped here on the way to the beach to eat at lunchtime. I have a calzone and my friend has a pack. we also have a vegan bake and cookie for dessert. everything was really delicious. we met the owner who is vegan. very recommended stop here when they are in kreta! edit: we came back the next day and all vegan options were out. hit or miss."

"Rude bar staff, who sit there with their friends shouting and upsetting the customers. When asked to be quieter so people could enjoy the sunset, the waiter answered point blank, no! I am not sorry. Nice place. Shame about the attitude."

"I love ionas! they have a complete vegan menu as well as non-vegan options. the eating is original, and the chef, kostantinos, has some different types of vegan meal that they do not really find in Greece, which is a beautiful change now and then. I had the since then tacos twice and they are so good, with zucchini noodles underneath. I also tried the tofu that was beautiful. the vegan brownie was super rich and decadent. I look forward to the cheesecake! the service here is fantastic. I have met the owners and poppy, my server, makes an ingenious almond milk latte and also helps me to learn Greek! I really love to come here and enjoy a beautiful, relaxing brunch. highly recommended! updated by previous review on 2021-09-06"
