"I have lived in the neighborhood fro years and avoided this place like the plague for a long time!They have renovated. in the last year service has done a 360 and they are pleasant and cordial. Old staff was cranky and whiny all the time. Food: is pretty good.Live music and dancing: super fun!Will be back!"

"My ex-coworker and I always meet up at this restaurant for lunch, and until last week we were there for lunch. I ordered a dish called "Chicken and Waffles" with the description of "A freshly-made waffle with spicy fried chicken, drizzled with Fran's maple syrup, topped with green onions for $13.99" Guess what. I received a waffle with three chicken wings on it and it costs $13.99 called the store manager and he just showed up said he can't do anything about it. because he is not the owner. WTH. I guess this would be our last time there. very dishonest restaurant. No more Fran's."

"Lived in the suburbs all my life in Scarborough and finally went to the St.Lawrence Market for the first time. As a vegetarian i was not impressed with the market, i guess i was expecting far more veggies and fruit. but 95% of the market is meat, fish and cheese. We were about to leave and find somewhere to eat on Front when at the last moment we came across Cruda Cafe. i was thrilled to find great healthy food!!! i ordered the raw Wild Mushroom Burger. it was delicious. i would recommend swinging by for a healthy lunch when in the area."
