"Been coming to Hahndorf for years.Always had a drink here before venturing out for dinner.This time we had a meal on table which it will be our last.Meals had no taste,came out warm,One meal came out wrong.No table service,expensive. This is the worst review...I have given.It sadens me as its in my own state"

"Went here with a group of six, staff were very accomodating as one of our group has an injured hip and is waiting on a hip replacement. They have a fantastic selection of food everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals which were very filling. My partner had a lamb pizza, I don't eat lamb but I tried a slice and it was amazing. I had a beef schnitzel which lovely, everyone really enjoyed their meals. Would definitely return as there is a great selection of food, something to please everyone when with a group. Really enjoy the ambience also, rustic and comforting with the "wood look" has fire adding and nice touch on a cold winter day."

"Relaxed in the sunshine outside. Great coffee and the breakfast and quiche we had very beautiful. Had a cronut. ...Half croissant and half doughnut. Delicious! Great friendly staff and will be back soon for a coffee and cronut!"

"Although very expensive this was the best Mocha I have had since travelling in Europe. The coffee was delicious and obviously the chocolate of very high quality. Even the coffee art on the top was done well. The setting is lovely as it is a very old building. The bathroom is spectacular with the old wrought iron door handle, stone walls and a beautiful stain glass window. Worth the price of the coffee!"

"Coming to Hahndorf, one must visit the German Arms. It's been here forever and the establishment is an institution. Dining here is sheer joy for me and an absolute guilty pleasure. I love their German beers, the largers from Hofbrauhaus in particular. So easy to drink and so smooth with a great flavour. You can't go past the original, or the Dunkel is a brilliant darker brew if that takes your fancy.The food is always of a generous proportion so come here hungry. I'm partial to Bavarian fare so this is right down my alley. I love pickled anything so the sauerkraut and pickled red cabbage hit the spot. This time I had the giant Kransky hot dog and giant it is! Enjoyed it immensely. Had the apple strudel dessert and it came with a gorgeous vanilla bean ice cream and thick clotted cream as well. Pure indulgence!If you like German food and beers, you just MUST come here."
