"What a great tea room , u can eat something warm , cold or sweet . Available toilet for customers , car park . We had a crem tea which was very nice."

"I made a booking, but if we didn't get ready. self service order, but at £12-13 a main course, that is a sweat. the workers were quite non-verbal, why they have a job to do with the public if they cannot have a conversation with their customers. was not in a hurry to delete the table. do not understand these other great reviews. many tourist in what are on earth they think when they end here. eating was not terrible, not expected that chocolate fudge cake £6 wasn't even hot. I'm getting anyone who has problems with electricity bills, but come on."

"A thoroughly enjoyable, if slightly odd evening. The pies were great, nicely cooked and tasty, the chips were a little plain but crisp, the mushy peas just mushy peas and the gravy nice and tasty but probably bisto. It may sound that it didn't think much of the food but I really enjoyed it all. The price tag, at £8.95 for pie and chips is great. To cap it off the host, and his mum were a true comedy double act, slightly fringe comedy, but funny. Give the place a go!"

"Came with a group so we didn't get to pick our rooms. Definitely a dated room and was a little concerned about the cleanliness. Our bathtub drain looked like it was sorely in need of a deep clean and one of the glasses had lipstick on the rim. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy, but even though we didn't turn the radiator on, water was running through it all night very loudly making it quite difficult to sleep. The staff was very nice and the food was good at both breakfast and dinner. It's also in a very good location."

"This place felt a wee bit cramped for me.A small-ish place with not that many seats compared to most I've been in. They do serve a good variety of Coffee's,but most at a price that I would rate a bit high (I prefer McDonals Coffee,and it'sa lot cheaper.Costa's Bacon Bap a bit pricey too."

"Such a friendly coffee shop, personal are always friendly and happy to help my experience with caitlin she is always so knowledgeable on there products and always chatty and helpful, fiona even brought our coffee on our table. we will be coming back soon"

"We stopped in for breakfast. It was moderately busy, we were seated right away. The food was great, they have a good selection for breakfast and lots of vegetarian options. It’s tucked off the main road in an industrial section. Might be a little hard to find compared to other options in Aviemore but I highly recommend you try and get here."

"The castle is self guided and is filled with interesting items to peruse while touring. There were a LOT of crowds here, which kind of surprised me, as we had been at Brodie castle and it was not nearly as full of people. I think a lot of tours stop here, as people did arrive in large groups. The grounds are lovely and well cared for. We visited in September and there were still plenty of flowers in bloom. There was a bagpipe player on the grounds who was entertaining the crowds as they arrived."

"Of us were staying at the Ferry Inn for nights, to attend Scottish National Sheepdog Trials. Prior to arriving we had decided to eat at a different restaurant each night. After our first meal in the refurbished Upper Deck/Ferry Inn restaurant, where ALL...the staff, but especially Linda and Donna are so helpful and pleasant, we changed our minds as what we’d ordered here was so good. Over the nights we tried the Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken Caesar Burger, Fish Pie, Haddock and Posh Fries, Macaroni cheese, King Prawn Crab Linguine and they were all excellent….but… we all had the Sirloin or Fillet steaks and they were AMAZING. One of our party said the best steak he’d ever had was at One Devonshire Gardens…..and the Fillet Steak here was better and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend"
