Visited Cawdor Castle with my partner and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The reasons I am giving it stars and not is because it is quite expensive, for two people is quite steep in my opinion. It also seems like a lot of the castle is out of bounds for visitors too which was quite disappointing. All in all it is a lovely castle and gardens with interesting history. read more.

It's decent but fails to tell an engrossing story. For people that can read English, take the time to read the room guides, they're amusing enough to be worthwhile. The audio guides tell you about half of what's written down. But if it's busy, you can still listen and move on.
