"After visiting the Christmas market, we wanted to let the evening end at Cafe Barendorf. We ate to dinner for two. There was only one day card with 5 dishes with a self-contained compilation. Kohlroulade with red cabbage and potatoes. I chose the deer goulash with late zle and cranberry berry. The food was on the table shortly. The pear didn't exist. With the remark, pears we no longer have, they served me without asking a peach. Gulasch, a few pieces in sauce that ran over the edge of the plate and was very unappetic. I was hungry and I got tired, it wasn't a pleasure. My companion took the cabbage routine, actually white cabbage served with red cabbage. Tasteful canteen very similar. On my question whether it was homemade, you answered yes.I don't know how the dishes of the usual menu are, we can't recommend this restaurant."

"Best experience so far. But in the sweet area. The herbal pancake Seilersee was so grottensbad!!! The filling tasted good, but the pancake itself was much too solid, nothing of fluffy, but solid cardboard. And in other courts is written by roast potatoes. But these are by no means roast potatoes, but only roasted potato slices! This should be clearly defined in the menu!"

"In my company, we 've been traveling to Germany for 30 years. Personally, I 've been visiting for 20. Our partner in Iserlohn-Kalthof has been taking us to the hunting lodge all these years. It 's good every single time. The first thing that I noticed over the years is the wait staff. First, they are WAY different in Europe than American: well trained, professional, polite. Second, the same people have worked there for years. The atmosphere there is the hunting lodge. There 's lots of pictures, mounts, and interesting things hung on the walls. Not in a TGI Fridays kind of way. Interesting stuff. Heck, theres even a few red stag outside to see. As with any European resturnat, there 's outside seating and they 're not afraid to use it. They tend to enjoy the outdoors more than we do. You 'll notice that they 're sitting out when it 's colder than you like. Even when it 's raining a little more that we like. I always get the vennison and kroketten. Absolutely beautiful. Not sure about the price because they always pick up the check when we 're there. Doesn 't matter. It has to be worth the price."

"Was there a cocktail later on Friday to drink, despite a later hour, the cocktails from the mixer were there fast and delicious. Great to drink good cocktails in Iserlohn. Hurraaahh! Come more often."
